This 30-something year-old classic nylon bag outfitter brings its contemporary and colorful threads to Melrose to establish its first free-standing store in the Golden State. The dark wood walls and subtle blue tile floor, décor characteristic of this purveyor of hip handbags and backpacks, are highlighted by funky fixtures reminiscent of the decade in which this company began. The 1,565-sq foot store near La Cienega Boulevard brings with it new and old alike, including all the traditional designs, Stella McCartney for LeSportsac, men's collections and a new line called Artist in Residence.
