Very Comfortable... Outstanding Service – Conservative but very comfy room with iPod hookup, turndown service and twice-a-day housekeeping service. Really nice linens/pillows/comforter. Bathroom was granite and marble, shower had plenty of pressure. Plush towels and a well thoughout box of bath amenities. Needed a toothbrush and someone was at my door in about two minutes.

I was on the eighth floor, where the windows are angled around the roofline. Great for looking out and added a lot of charm to the room. The view was better than most city-center hotels, loved looking up at the many surrounding skyscapers.

As you'd expect, the staff at the hotel were genuine, friendly and efficient; it made my stay just great. I recomend this hotel very highly.

In addition, if you are there on a Sunday, spend the $$$$ and go to their brunch. It was outstanding and one of the best I have ever seen in my life. Every type of food you can imagine is spread before your eyes. Certainly on par with any Four Seasons!

The only negative was the location is very quiet on a winter Sunday (you are in the epicenter of the financial district which bustles Monday-Friday), but you are a quick stroll to the more vibrant parts of this beautiful city.

I wish all of my boutique hotel stays were this nice!

Not the 'Best Brunch' eva! – We went here after reading this was the 'Best Brunch in the City and well known for the chocolate'. Brunch had a well enough variety and the chocolates were very good although limited, much to our disappointment! One of the older guests had no etiquette and used his fingers on the Sushi which grossqued me out. We had 2 bottles of champagne and had to keep requesting orange juice to make our own Mimosa's. At $55 plus a head, I would rather they put out orange juice on the buffet to help ourselves rather than try and flag a waiter down for OJ! The check was put down on the table 3 different times by 3 different waiters making it confusing who was waiting on us, and making us feel 'rushed'. I have had better brunch and service at the Four Seasons. Langham waitstaff could use a few lessons on service from them as well. Cafe Fleuri was a little noisy and not much ambience, but again adquate, not 4 star.

Phenomenal – Booked through hotwire for a ridiculously low rate. They upgraded me to a king upon arrival, the room was fine, fairly standard though a bit nicer. Good bed, spacious, well filled bathroom. The TV was a little underwhelming, but the radio with iPod hookup was a nice touch. The robes and slippers were nice and the staff very courteous. I took full advantage of the facilities, using the all-new weight room in the evening and then walked a bit on a treadmill equipped with touchscreen controls and a built in TV. The gym also offered running routes, though none were more than 4 miles, so I made my own into south Boston and then stretched in the park adjacent to the hotel, a cute, quiet area. The showers, sauna, indoor lap pool, and jacuzzi were all amazing and definitely a higher level of class than I'm used to in my travels. Would I stay here again? Definitely at hotwire rates, and probably at normal rates too.

Luxury and attention to detail in a historic building. – The Scene
This Renaissance-Revival building once housed Boston's Federal Reserve Bank---check out the original bronze doors, as well as marble, granite and gold leaf interior finishings. It is widely reputed to be one of the best business hotels in the city, offering a full business center, nine refurbished meeting spaces and high-speed Internet in the guest rooms.

The Details
Rooms feature large, sloping windows, especially on the top floors-some boast scenic views of Post Office Square. The pinnacle accommodation is the Presidential Suite. The hotel is loved locally as a venue for power breakfasts and lunches, as well as for being the site of Café Fleuri's Chocolate Bar. The French restaurant Julien is experiencing a renaissance under the guidance of Chef de Cuisine Edward Farrow. The pool area has a cool industrial look to it, and workout equipment is arranged under a sky-lit atrium. Spa services include in-room massage. In short: this hotel is a real find in a beautiful area.

Just like Europe – I stayed at le Meridien hotels while I lived in Europe and was curious to come here. Despite my bad cold, I had a wonderful time here. Received a room upgrade and resided in a large room with a tremendous view and a gigantic bed. I relied heavily on room service, which was a Godsend. The staff is multi-lingual, so I got to practice foreign languages while staying there. I can't wait to go back when I'm not sniffling!
