Simply awesome! – Ok, I'm not sure what spa "david182" went to, but I go La Di Spa for weekly appointments. Here is my experience so far... I am a forty-something and find the store peaceful, playful yet sophisticated and highly professional. I have been there when there were young girls getting their nails done, and it is still a quiet place. As far as cleanliness, they do sanitize their equipment after every use. Even the tub that you soak your feet in has a disposable liner that is replaced for each client. I've used the bathroom once, and did not see any critters. I know that they do not use acetone or nail color with formaldahyde, which is why you do pay more here. BUT, my manicures always last the full week, unlike most other shops who don't prep the nail the way Brandi does. Many Saturdays my nails still look perfect from the week before. I know they market to the families, but I'm single, no kids and I highly recommend La Di Spa to others. The parking is great too.
Fun and Friendly – I went there several weeks ago and my two girls had a blast. They do use pure acetone instead of non toxic polish remover and they put the acetone in a sparitual bottle so it looks all natural. My only other complaint would be that they promote they are a fully licensed salon and they are except the owner does not have any kind of license and she performs services as well. She is very friendly as well as the other employees but maybe talks a bit too much. One of my daughters went to a rockstar party also and they do get to keep the hair extensions and they are not reused. She had a blast and I would definately recommend this place and the staff.
Surprised – ...that there is any room for unfavorable reviews about this business. I took two little girls that I baby sit to La Di Spa last week and they loved every second they were there. I did not notice any clutter as other reviews stated and I thought the environment was perfect for the concept they have going. It's a fun, relaxing family spa where I was able to enjoy myself while my girls had a blast at the same time. All employees at La Di Spa were ready and willing to go above and beyond to satisfy us. I will go back to La Di Spa again and I encourage everyone to go try it for themselves. You will not be disappointed.
Bad management – This place seems like a good idea but I don't think it was properly managed. When I went in there was no one to be found. I could hear them all in the back but no one was up front to greet the customers. I think some of the girls were doing things they weren't really trained in. Just because you have a license doesn't mean you should practice things you aren't good at. I went in 2 weeks ago and the girl who waxed my eyebrows did a bad job. But I was too nice to say anything. She wasn't friendly and didn't make me feel like she wanted my business. Just the environment didn't feel professional and the staff felt cold. I would not reccommend this place or go back.
Great New Place! – This place is adorable! The whole lay out is very kid friendly. I had a mommy mani & pedi while my son had a gummy worm pedi which he completely loved. He normally can't sit still for more than 5 minutes but he sat through the entire service and had so much fun. They served us both drinks and at the end they were nicest enough to give us a 20% coupon for a monthly special which we were unaware was even going on. No one does that! We will be back for sure! As for the other negative review I comepletely disagree.
Fabulous! – My daughter and her 15 friends recently had a rock star party at La Di Spa and we all had a blast!! Everything they use is all natural and the ice cream mani & pedi's are to die for!!! The kids just loved it and we will be back again for my oldest daughter's birthday next month! The mommy services are fabulous too by the way I had a pedicure my Brandi that was amazing!
This place was HORRIBLE.. – okay taw2448 thinks that they don't use acetone but like the previous person that reviewed this place. they keep it in the sparitual bottles so you think that it's all natural, so they fool you. What else are they going to fool you with? I agree that the owner shouldn't be doing services if she isn't licensed and I am suprised people let her touch them since she isn't licensed, i mean she doesn't know what she is really doing or why.
