Love Monday Madness – I've been to Monday Madness several times and have been consistently impressed. We love that we can go get $2 sake and rolls - and since we're saving money on the staples, we can splurge on a few of the more original items. The veggie tempura portion is small, but some of the best I've ever had. There's always a good crowd on Monday nights; between that and the upscale decor, it makes for a fun night out!

Good Decor, but quite as a church – Me and my wife were the only ones eating dinner on a Friday at 7:30. I think we were the only ones in the whole place. The happy hour prices and food at the bar were good. But it was lonley eating there. Much like most of the Arboretum area, looks like people are moving on to the Domiain. Too bad, place has alot of potential.

His was better. . . – We are frequent sushi eaters!! :-)) The indoor decor of this restaurant was absolutely beautiful!! The atmosphere was wonderful!!

I love spicy foods including sushi. He likes NOT spicy. We ordered the California role and the Millennium roll. Which was supposed to be spicy and wasn't. Nor was it spectacular. He had the Brandy role which was amazing, even if it didn't have that spice kick to it. We had two of those. The sashimi was AMAZING!! Spanish mackerel. Service was decent, waiter knew his way around the menu.

Will definitely be returning! Thanks!!

OK, not great. – I love sushi, and eat it several times a week. While I am not a sushi snob (I can't afford to be), I do want decent meal for the money. I don't feel like we got that here.

This place is beautiful inside, but I think that is the most impressive thing about it. We ordered appetizers (fresh edamame, decent lobster/goat cheese gyoza), sushi, and some rolls. The sushi was pretty good, I would rate it above average. However, the rolls were merely average to below average. For the price, they weren't particularly tasty, and several seemed to be missing some of the advertised components (e.g., sauces, tempura). Our waitress seemed wholly uninterested in us, and although she kept the water glasses filled, she did nothing else to enhance our experience in any way. We should have sat at the bar.

All in all, it certainly wasn't terrible, but we probably won't be back. For $50, we could have had a better quality and more enjoyable dinner at Midori.

not sure – I am a austinite. And was familar with the location and place because it was a steak house prior. Was not very impressed at all. I have worked at a sushi bar in the past. This place was nothing to write about except the rent check that they have to write each month. Our waiter was clueless on anything from our drink order to our flat out order. So from that point i directly just order from our sushi chef. Which was hispanic not japanese. We ordered anything from appitizers to sashimi, to full dinner entrees. The place and setting was nice , but they definatly need to grow. Will not be back nor recommend. Sorry

Arboretum sushi spot makes its case with statement-making modern decor and trendy patrons – In Short
Undeniably hip and modern Asian, the spacious dining room is decorated in earth tones and varying textures like stone mosaic walls, dark natural woods and bamboo inset tables. Happy hour and dinner patrons are dressed to impress, while the lunch set is generally more business casual. Expect the menu to reflect the same attention to trends including starters like chicken lollipops, kobe beef hibachi and sea bass sashimi. Mains include miso chipotle salmon, ribeye maki and braised beef short ribs. Also served are varied by-the-piece sushi and sashimi plus house special rolls.par
