Amazing Daycare! – We've been taking our dog to Paws for about 6 months now, and I cannot say enough good things about the facility (very clean) and the staff (so friendly and accommodating).

Our dog literally PULLS us towards the direction of Paws because she loves it so much. She's become much more socialized around dogs and people, and she comes home a very tired, yet happy dog. Which makes us happy, of course!

I can't recommend Paws enough..

Ishmael is really good – took my pup down this week to get groomed. Ishmeal the groomer with all the buzz online did him. my dog was knotted, dirty, and not to friendly. He came out happy, clean and with a great cut and was done in a hour very impressive. he was very nice and my pup was not aggressive with him and i was amazed and will be a loyal customer to ishmeal. the front desk though is a bit unpleasant but grooming service is great!!!!!!!!

Best doggy day care in Brooklyn. – After checking out all the doggy day cares in Park Slope (about 6 in all) we decided on Paws. I sincerely love this place. Great friendly staff and a tad less expensive than the others. Most importantly, is that I feel that my beloved baby is in good caring hands. Also- we use their grooming services which are excellent as well.

awesome staff. – The staff is great and super nice. I went in there to get some stuff for my pup and they were very helpful. The daycare seems nice. I might consider registering my dog for it. Overall a very decent place!

Excellent cat grooming – I always take my catHere for a bath and to get his nails clipped and he always comes out looking gorgeous! I was pleasantly surprised by the service and the friendliness and kindness of the groomer Ishmael. He did a great job and compared to other grooming salons in Brooklyn this one was clean and a lot cheaper. I felt very comfortable leaving my cat there, even though he can be a bit hard to handle. I would highly recommend that people use their services because they are truly the best.

THE WORST – I took my shih-tzu here for the very first time. After reading reviews about Ishmael being the best groomer, I decided to go along with scheduling the appointment with him. After being told that the grooming would take 1 hour, they literally called me to pick her up within a 1/2 hour! That was the 1st thing that striked me as odd.

2nd when I seen my pup, the cut looked very good from the 1st few glances. Then as I got her home, I realized her hair was very uneven, nails were hardly clipped, hence seeming as if the entire job was rushed.

Most importantly, 2 weeks later (yesterday) my pup started scurrying around the room and wouldn't let me check her tail area. I knew something was wrong at that point, so I rushed her to the vet. Come to find out, due to improper expression of her anal glands (basic grooming responsibility) 1 of them had burst. Not to say that Paws in Paradise was the cause of this, but from what I'm told along with other causes such as a lack in fiber, an abscess grows within 2 weeks and that's when she was there. To me, it's just to much of a coincidence. I had to spend $400 to get her taken care of, not to mention she is in excruciating pain right now.

I am very sorry that you were not happy with the cut. Our policy is to ask if the owner is happy or if they want anything else done to make it better. If you like, please give us a call to speak to the manager, explain what the problem is, so that we can try to make you happy. We would rather our customers be happy than upset.
