Highly Recommend – I rarely take time to write reviews mainly for lack of time. I had to share this time and let others know what a Gem this Salon has.

A co-worker tired of my complaining every time I had my hair done recommended her stylist at Salon HairSay

Lindsey DID NOT DISAPPOINT!

Good Hair Stylist are hard to find and I owe my co-worker for recommending Lindsey.

I was impressed with her calm nature and professionalism and most important to me she listened to my concerns and was professional in her feedback and recommendations. I'm a fan and highly recommend Lindsey and Salon HairSay for your next beauty day.

awesome salon – My hair looks amazing! I love all the stylists and they made me feel welcome. The salon is gorgeous. It was nice to have a glass of wine while getting pampered too. It was very convenient from my home. I will be back.

Hair say Review – I have been a repeat customer at this salon for about a year and for good reason: The results are incredible. Their hairstylists are amazing and always updating and can cater to any style, unlike some salons in portland which focus only on certain looks. The manicures and pedicures are equally amazing and I've been all over trying out different massages, facials mani's and pedi's and Hair say is still the best place I have ever found for a reasonable price. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!!

Salon lovely! – If you are looking for a fabulous colorist/stylist you HAVE to see Miranda. She is super talented and makes my dark hair a true blond (NOT easy appararently as most colorists turn it brassy orange). I come from Washington as often as I can for cut and color!

beware!!!!! – i had my hair cut today by jenna. what an idiot! her boyfriend? apparently works there too and she talked about them and their life the entire time i was there. i always thought that the stylist was supposed to focus on the client, but she was very self centered. she also talked badly about some of her coworkers, which made me very uncomfortable. my haircut itself was pretty average, not great, but not horrible. i wont be going back to this salon. there are so many other salons around here, that i hope people will take my advise and not bother!

Decent Color, Strange Vibe – I went here for a hair color, and the stylist (the salon owner) did a good job and gave me a finished look. However, he is an impossible person to be around. He has an overbearing demeanor. I arrived and had a seat in the waiting area. He walked quickly over to me and said, "Let's do this!" During my appointment, he shouted orders and instructions to his staff, made a pass at me, and threatened his niece and nephew, who were left at the salon to be babysat.

Can't put a price on Quality – When comes to someone cutting my hair I am very picky.

I have not had a serious hair cut since I was about 10 (minus a simple trim) where the idea of cutting my hair short made me feel a little nervous. My husband and I had been looking for a salon I could feel comfortable with taking on the task of cutting my hair and not disappointing me.

My greatest fear was finding a salon that would cut my hair - botch it up - and find myself in tears the next day...

That's when a friend of my husband referred me to Eddie and Hair Say.

The service was Exceptional!

As soon as I was seated with Eddie I was immediatly provided with a glass of wine and an interview about the kind of hairstyle I was looking for. Considering I haven't had a haircut in years I had no idea what would look good on me so I let the expert go to work.

He took not of my every fear and concern with making a drastic hair change and threw it out the door! He even gave me his best stylest for short haircuts to make sure I would not be disappointed.

He was right. I was not.

I have recieved nothing but rave reviews from all I know about my hair and am very pleased with Hair Say. And I have not cried a day losing my long locks.

If your looking for a Salon - Go to Eddie or Michelle at Hair Say! They took great care of me where I will be a lifelong customer! They are pricey however, sometimes you can't put a price on quality.

Average salon - pretty pricey for what you get – my opinion...

This salon is trying to be 'too big for its britches'. It is a decent salon. Not as upscale as I think they want to be, or are advertising to be... or most of all - charging for. The salon is nicely decorated, although the floors are old and disgusting, and it is in need of some deeper remodeling/revamping - the building is cool, but you can tell it's old, and there are some things that just haven't been updated... not just the new paint on the walls. (I notice these things being in the construction/design industry). The bathroom was kinda gross... and there was a smell when you first walk in. Not a salon smell of chemicals, etc... but something else.

If prices are going to be upwards of $200 for a cut & color - the stylists should dress, and more importantly act more professional. Not that I mind so much personally... but if I am going to pay that much the stylists shouldn't look so frumpy & shouldn't spend their time gossiping with eachother. I love my hair, I really do. But I have had equal results, for about 1/2 the price. The results were good. The girl that did my hair did a good job, and I am happy with how it turned out. I won't go back though.

utterly disappointing – DON'T GO HERE!!!!!!!!!!!! All the good reviews that you read for this place were obviously written by employees. A diamond in the rough? No way ever! This place was a joke! This place is WAY over priced for everything they offer. $45 for a set of nails, $30 for a pedi, and $50 for a basic haircut?? Please!! Go to Lynn's a block away and you can get a realy awesome pedi for only $20. I got a couple of those pdx half price hot spot certificates and went there for a basic haircut and a pedi, using one of my gift certificates. I would never pay those prices for a haircut if I was paying in full. When she was done with my haircut, it looked the same! She didn't even style it, just blew it dry barely. That was a couple weeks ago. I went today because I was told they would be slow on Tuesdays. I called and made a hair apt for 1:30 w/ Melissa. She told me, when she did my hair before, that for a full weave, she would only charge me $60. I went in at my apt time expecting that amt, and she met me at the door telling me that the discount was not available with the certificates. Devastated, I left saying I would make an apt in the next couple weeks when I could afford full price ($85!!!) I went back asking if I could just get a half, and the receptionist asked and Melissa said that she could fit me in in bout 45 minutes. I left AGAIN and went to Target to busy myself. When I arrived a THIRD time, the receptionist told me that Melissa wasn't going to be able to do my hair after all!!! I asked the receptionist if I could just get my nails done instead, and she said sure. When the first nails lady came in I asked if I could, for sure, use my certificate and the nail lady said I couldn't because she was not part of the salon. She was her own business. Receptionist told me that the other nail lady, another Melissa, came in 15 minutes. I asked the receptionist, AGAIN, if I was able to use this certificate for the nail service and she assured me that I could. I sat and waited and when Melissa came in, she quickly sat me and did my nails. Before she did the final coat and the polish, I told her I would pay her so I didn't smudge my polish. Once I set my certificate down, she told me I couldn't use it. Since I had used one on my last visit, I couldn't use it one this one. The lady who worked in the booth next to me started making this huge deal about it and said they were only one per customer. I told her about me asking the receptionist before my service was even started and she assurd me I could use it. Well, guess what? Receptionist quit that day!! It happened shortly after I went in the nail room. Melissa, the nail tech felt really bad and she was honestly the only one who acted with any sort of professionalism. I was almost in tears by the time I left, and that is no way for a business to treat thier customers. They have a $20 discount for first time customers, but SAVE YOUR MONEY!!! Seriously, there are so many better places within a mile radius of this place. Amaze salon, Lynn's, and Lilo's are all located on Beaverton-Hillsdale and are half the price of this place. Lynn's has the best pedis I have ever had. This place has referral cards they give thier first time customers to hand out to people, and I handed some out at first, but after this visit I tore all the rest up and emailed the people that I gave the other ones to and told them my story. The only person who even treated me with any sort of respect in this place was my nail tech. I will never return to this place after my experience today.
