Great brunch spot when the weather is nice (i.e. sunny and 65+ degrees) because the open-air style and quiet area lends itself to a peaceful setting to relax while chatting with your friend or catching up on the mornings news. While the menu is limited, the food and coffee is solid (local ingredients and freshly prepared!) and you don't have to wait in a 45 min. line while admiring other peoples food - win!

If I lived closer, I would probably drop in more often to read or get some work done, but this is definitely not a place to park your computer all day (no outlets).

Stylish cafe in the Mission -De La Paz coffee and housemate sandwiches and entrees. Score a table in the garden -and you'll want to move in.

Great morning pastries, wifi and beautiful outdoor seating make it a great spot to enjoy breakfast or lunch while getting work done.

Sleepy, sunny Mission cafe in an 1850's horse stable. – The rough-hewn woodwork of the floors, beams and benches gives this cafe a just-built, unfinished look, although the building--once used to stable the Mayor's horses--dates to the 1850's. The light-filled, airy and breezy space has a few simple table and stool sets, plus a loft area above. The stripped-down decor matches the offerings (there's not much on the menu you couldn't get or make in the 19th century); classic espresso drinks and cafe snacks like panini, soup, salads, bagels, pastries, etc. With no WiFi, couches, open-mics or other typical coffee shop amenities, Stable is what a cafe in an old Western would be like, of only cowboys and outlaws drank lattes.

This place is beautiful and Delicious-from coffee to sweets, great sandwiches to eat! – This is going to be my new home away from home!!!I went to this small cafe for the first time today. I think it opened just a few weeks ago. It was amazing. The space is really open and cool with great music. A great place for lunch. There is a daily special panini ($6) and soup ($3.50). (Today's was Fig and Goat cheese panini and Vegetable puree soup.) I had a roasted bell pepper and mozzarella sandwich on foccacia. It was delicious and they weren't stingy with the mozzarella-balls.

The desserts are made onsite and look incredible. I had a german chocolate cupcake that was so moist it could have been pudding. Easily the best cupcake I have ever eaten. And, I took one of the house special cookies to go. It is called a "sand angel" and it also was delicious. It is hard to describe, kinda like a thick sugar cookie with cinnamon and maybe maple. These cookies are worth the trip alone.
