Worst Management and Service I have ever received – They should really rethink how they talk to people on the phone. I tried planning a bachelorette party, sent an inquiry with the date and received a response on price. Tried getting a hold on them for the next three days during their designated business hours, no answer. I tried for the 4th time, and finally got an answer but was placed on hold for 5-7 minutes. When they picked up I said hello and then they hung up on me! I called back immediately and the person who answered blamed it on ME!

I started to ask about their "Ultimate Bachelorette Package" and she cuts me off and tells me the price. I let her know I am fully aware of cost and wanted to book. She asked me what date, I told her, she CHUCKLES and says they were booked and have been booked for over two weeks (even though nothing was specified in the email inquiry they gave me).

I hate to give this place even one star. My suggestion for anyone looking to go here..turn around and head to Borgata. They actually know how to treat people with respect.

Tyranny at the Disco - Very Overrated – Poor Management at Providence! After hearing mixed reviews on Providence, I decided to keep an open mind and join my happy bride-to-be cousin at her bachelorette party at the club in AC. The group decided on VIP / bottle service which came out to over $1800. The mark up on these bottles is ridiculous – you will NOT get your money’s worth of drinks. We had fun dancing, but the DJ wasn’t that great. My spin class instructor plays better mixes. We were in the VIP section against the wall near the entrance, however it was not as exclusive as it should have been for the money. Maybe we didn’t pay enough not to have the general public and various Providence employees wander through our section all night! We had a tight crowd as it was with just our own party and then we had to worry about making room for passing wait staff, dancers, and club patrons. This is not VIP treatment! We had also seen some random people take some of our drinks while walking by! One of us brought it up with the promoter and security personnel, who really did nothing to help the situation or compensate our loss. In fact, it was then that a Providence security guard accused one of us of dropping an illegal substance and attempted to detain and question her. The club is crowded and dark and this security guard believes he can just pick someone at random and accuse them of something this serious?! Come on! On top of that, the detainment of this girl was most likely illegal. They could not prove anything except that they have no handle on their security or employees. This club just wants to take your money. I would not patronize Providence. This club has poor management and security. We are now attempting to make a complaint with the club, but we keep getting the run-around. I guess we’ll have to contact their corporate offices…

Unnecessarily Rude – We had plans to go to Club Providence on Saturday, July 23, 2011 for weeks, for a Bachelor/Bachelorette party, which was about 15 people. We had already put our names on the guest list, and had the impression that there would be no admission fee. We arrived there some time before 10pm and there was no line. Our group was not rowdy and we all lined up while the lady was handing us some tickets to enter. We got to the entrance inside and they told us it was a $25 cover for girls, $30 for guys. We told them we were on the guestlist and they said we needed different tickets. Mind you, this was our first time at this club, and we did not know what the tickets were meant for in the first place. It would have been more organized if the lady handing them out told us what they were for, or asked us if we were on the guestlist in case we needed different tickets. So we all turned around to get the other tickets, without any complaints. We were giving her back the tickets in a nice way and then out of nowhere she pushed some of us away from her and screamed at us that she needed all the tickets back from everyone and to get in a line, like we were children! We did what she said and collected the new tickets. My husband then told them that this process was a little unorganized. One of guys managing the lines, yelled back at my husband, "You all F***ed it up". My husband calmly apologized, and the guy started coming up to my husband trying to pick a fight! The guy finally backed off when my husband apologized again. We went in to the entrance and they told us the entrance fee for the guestlist was $10 for girls, $15 for guys. We wouldn't have cared to pay that amount, if it wasn't for the rudeness and the inappropriate behavior of their staff. This place was completely unorganized and we didn't cause them any problems, we just did not understand what the deal was with the tickets and it could have been helpful if they told us about it before we entered to save us both the time. We decided to leave and went to another club. We spent over $1500 there and had a blast. That is, $1500 that Club Providence lost. We will never go to Club Providence again because of the unnecessary attitude we received. We also told everyone we had passed by that night in Tropicana, not to go to Club Providence because of how they treated us... they all turned around and came to party with us instead.

Such a fun time! – I came to Providence in June with a bachellorette party in June. I wasn't sure what to expect, due to where it's located...right next to an irish bar and a comedy club.

The inside of the club has a HUGE dance floor, awesome lighting and it's well air-conditioned. We had 11 girls, we got a VIP table with bottles and had a great elevated view of the dancefloor.

This place is a serious club. If you're not willing to dress night, don't go. If you don't want a swank environment, don't go...

Next time I am back down in A.C. I will go back, I wanna dance on the platform with the dancers!!! They're so hot!!

Worst place for bachelorette parties, dancing – Club Providence is possibly the WORST club I have been to, especially for bachelorette parties. I find it amusing that they have a whole page dedicated to bachelor (ette) parties on their website, when they practically ruined my friend's bachelorette night out. Our bachelorette (a successful, mature, 27 year old) said that she hadn't been yelled at that much since she was in junior high school.

First off, you can't have line dances or dance in circles - the bouncers do not allow this. You are not allowed to get too crazy with your dancing - like say you and this guy are really good dancers and you start dancing together and a crowd forms around you because you are good and fun to watch - no - this is not allowed at Providence. The bouncers will break up any sort of dancing that draws a crowd or involves people doing dances in line/circle formations. Basically, you aren't allowed to have fun.

I understand the $10 and $25 cover charges in AC, but the bottle service rules are crazy. You can't sit at a table without paying for bottle service, which will run you about $300 per table. There were about 12 of us and we wanted to get a table so we could rotate between the dance floor and the table (rest our feet - damn heels). So, we decided to bite the bullet and get a table and split the cost - we were then told that we would have to purchase TWO tables since there were like 12 of us. Even if we all were not planning on sitting. There is no place else to sit besides these tables in the whole damn place. Because we had no table, we had no place to put the bachelorette accessories we brought in with us - not that much stuff - just a couple feather boas, a hat and some pins/stickers (1 plastic bag worth - maybe). We weren't going to dance with them in our hand, so we set them on the floor next to a podium. The bouncer them proceeded to tell us that we had to hold onto them and couldn't put them there. So I asked him, where should I put them then? He said he doesn't know. Long story short, they wound up THROWING OUT our bachelorette gear because there was no place in the whole damn huge club that we were allowed to put a single plastic bag full of stuff. Way to cater toward bachelorette parties.

And don't try to talk to the DJs or request a song - they will most likely just ignore and try to get you to "text" your request to a number that appears on the TV screens throughout the place (the TV screens will also show other texts people send - great ones like "LOL K.T." and "Billy loves Jen" and "this place is da bomb"). I am not in 5th grade. I do not need to text message song requests.

So after being yelled at 15 times, having our bachelorette stuff thrown away, not being able to request a song and having our feet throbbing from not being able to site down, our bachelorette decided it was time to leave this hell hole and was nearly in tears. I've known this girl since college and have NEVER seen her upset. She left that place with her middle finger in the air for all the bouncers to see. Thank god somebody relayed the message about how bad our experience was there.

Don't waste your money. Go to the Borgata clubs or even the Casbah instead.
