Give me a break! – So if you're in the mood to get overcharged and wait hours for your delivery then this is the place to go. I've ordered (personally & with work) several times and everytime it's something. They've never got the order right, food (especially fried) comes soggy, it's always more expensive than the menu says and they say30-45min but never come before an hour (last time it took almost two hours!!!). After last time I called back to complain and the owner/mgr said he would take $10 off our next order...personally, I don't think we should have paid at all, but at least he did something. So today a co-worker and I order, he's says he'll take the $10 off the bill. Low and behold, he doesn't, he did take off the charge on a single sub ($7), but added a mysterious $3 fee at the bottom of the reciept.
Long story short, I will NEVER order from here again...and I hope you won't either!
Misleading – The menu for South End Pizza is beautiful. That's pretty much all you get. The food is average for a pizza joint, but it is overpriced for a pizza joint too. The pizza is excellent, and the crust is delicious, but the staff will leave a nasty taste in your mouth. They are rude, pushy, loud, lazy, and unhelpful. The drivers drive worse than a blind fifteen-year-old on NyQuil, and the food takes around 30 minutes to make if you order anything other than a cold cut or pizza. The only reason to ever eat there is if you have no other option (which is often in Boston, given that everything shuts down early enough to make our puritan forefathers proud), or if you are high, and can't stumble across the street to one of the other two pizza places in close proximity.
Best take out in the neighborhood – Good menu of american take out food. The variety and food quality is way better than I accepted. The guy was really nice to me and gave me some complementary stuff because I had to wait longer than he had told me.
Editorial Review – Pizza joint serves up piping hot pies as well as various sandwiches, wraps and more.
