Great Pilates Studio! – I have been doing Pilates for a long time now. Kinected studio is a large bright space with friendly talented staff.
I used Pilates as a form of physical therapy,when regular therapy with weights was not working as well for my injuries.
I have worked on various injuries through the years and find this is a gentle way to sculpt and strengthen your body,heal your injuries, build a strong core and stand and look talller!
Strong for Life... – As a faded former athlete approaching the end of his 4th decade on this Earth, I needed to find a place to exercise... more importantly strengthen my core. I didn't want to be the guy in his 50's that couldn't walk up a few flights of stairs without fear of skeletal collapse. Pilates is the answer for me, and I'm addicted. I worked with Matt, the owner, for several weeks; as well, I took advantage of their group mat and equipment classes. I worked through a lot of pain that I had with previous sports related injuries to feet, ankle and rotater cuff... I no longer have chronic pain in those places. Every inch of my body seems stronger these days, and I walk around the city with the physical stability I had when I was 18. I'm a convert, and I cannot imagine there is a better place to practice pilates than at kinected. They staff is amazing, the space is impeccably clean and I feel confident that everyday I walk into that facility, I will walk out a better, stronger human being. Thanks kinected... you have a client for life.
Personal attention no matter what! – When I first moved to NYC I looked into a couple of Pilates Studios to continue working on my strength, etc. After 2 years of jumping from place to place & unable to find that connection with atmosphere & knowledge, I found Kinected. Kinected is different than just a Pilates Studio. It's a community filled with incredibly knowledgeable instructors who care about you, your health and your well being. I've suffered from numerous injuries throughout my life and wish I could have found Kinected sooner! My body is stronger than ever because they make you understand how YOUR body works. The space itself is also a very calm, sunny and lovely place to be. Thanks to Kinected I'm walking taller and feeling stronger!

Awesome workout, wonderful trainers! – I initially went there on the advice of a friend who used the trainers there to rehab from a number of injuries. I was a little skeptical since pilates hasn't exactly been good to my body at other studios... But Kinected completely changed all that. All the trainers and classes I tried were excellent and everyone was knowledgeable about appropriate modifications and exercises for my injuries. I love the studio so much, I went on to get my pilates certification through their sister program, the Kane School!
Great Workout!! – Since I was 18 I have suffered from spondylolisthesis. I have to strengthen my core and stretch everyday in order to function without discomfort. To facilitate this I do workouts at Kincected six days a week. You can be sure Matt and his entire staff will give you a thorough and comprehensive work out. The standards at Kincected are very high; and I am constantly impressed by the disciplined and thorough training every staff member receives. Leave your ego at home.
Best pilates studio in NY -by far – As other reviewers have noted, what is remarkable about Kinected is that it is absolutely professional but also extremely relaxed. The workout is serious but feels like a treat, the body/movement improvements are evident very soon, and the price is most sensible. Having known many pilates studios in NY and abroad, Kinected stands out for its commitment and engagement. Truly a great place. We recommend it wholeheartedly!
Great remedy for back injuries – Kinected pilates has been an invaluable compliment to physical therapy for a recent back injury.
Extremely friendly, relaxed staff. The vibe is serious, but not gym-like or intimidating. Great equipment, big, clean, open space. Hugely recommended. Ask for Matt.
Number 1 Pilates Studio – I have been a long time fan of Kinected/Kane Studio and highly recommend them. The vibe is great and the students and instructors are top notch.
They have only top of the line equipment and their workouts are totally hands on. They are also knowlegable in injuries and I actually gave up going to physical theapy as their tailored pilates workout helped me more than they did!
I will and can guarantee that you will walk out of the studio feeling so much better and that you will be coming back again and again. I can definitely see and feel the difference in my body EileenM
The best place for pilates! – Kinected/Kane offers instructors who are nurturing, caring and knowledgeable. The personal, attentive, hands on approach offered at Kinected/Kane is unlike anything I've experienced at other pilates classes/sessions. The instructors focus totally on you, they earn about your body, your needs, what your goals are and help you work to feel physically better. Once you have had a few sessions with a Kinected instructor, it's tough to go anywhere else. Every time I leave my pilates session at Kinected, I feel taller, more relaxed, happier! I eagerly look forward to my weekly session and wish I had the time to go more frequently.
