Not the best. Worst management ever. – I can't understand why people call this the best pizza in NYC. Roberta's is better, Pauli Gee's is better, Franny's is better, Fornino is better. Crust is very bland and the pizza was extremely greasy. Interior is generic. And the management at this place is a joke. He came to our table to ask how our night was in an hawaiian shirt, dirty jeans and old running shoes. Who is hiring these clowns? Very unprofessional. Service is not very good. Obviously, whoever is running these places is not very hands on about training staff and management.
Most certainly NOT the best pizza in NYC – I had the magherita doc, and while the buffalo mozzarella was fantastic, the sauce was sour, and the crust lacked any flavor. The beet salad was ok flavor wise, but my boyfriends salad was full of egg shells! They gave my boyfriend a current menu, and me an outdated one, so I was trying to order things that they no longer offered. They ran out of diet soda, and the waiter told me that he *thought* they sent some one out for more, but that never materialized. All in all, not a pleasant experience. The highlight of the evening was a bottle of root beer soda - if that is any indication of the overall experience. BTW, it was super expensive (well given the fact that the pizza was so mediocre) - about $70 for 2 personal pizzas, 1 glass of wine, 1 bottle of root beer, and 2 beet salads.
that's ok – Nothing special, nice atmosphere with the brick oven.
Best in the area, prices a little high – Ok, ok, so it's not you're typical pizza joint in the city that serves pizza by the slice for a couple bucks, no, this place is different. The pizzas are unique, fingerling potatos, speck, brussel sprouts, etc. and are noticeably fresh. The proportion are thought through. This place isn't about stuffing you face full of grease and dough. The oven added a flavor that is unique which I find enjoyable but understand peoples reference to a burnt crust. My one minor complaint is the price which I find to be too high, regardless of quality.

The crowd, a mix of families and hip 20-somethings, chows down on whole pies like the classic margherita, plus varieties including anchovies, prosciutto di Parma, brussel sprouts and more. Cured meats, mussels and other treats fill out the small antipasti menu.

Delicious food, attractive room, good service, moderately priced – Right up there with the best pizza in Brooklyn; BYOB for now, not at all expensive. Service was good, pretty room. I'm going back, and taking friends.
WORST RESTURANT IN BROOKLYN!!! – By far the worst resturant i have ever been to. I ordered on the phone one time and not only did the girl mess up EVERYTHING but she was rude and snotty. Then i decided to go eat with my family and the whole time all i heard was the manager insulting and yelling at the waitstaff. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! Ontop of everything the pizza is burnt and overpriced.
Not good – I love pizza and especially neapolitan, so i was excited when I saw this place open up in my neighborhood. I was very disappointed though in the food. It's not good and the people that work there seem to hate their jobs. I would never go back.
Not worth the money – Very subpar foood. Small portions and expensive. Rude staff. Don't waste your time or money here. This is the Italian section of Williamsburg. There are many great pizza places with in blocks of this one, that are MUCH MUCH better.
