Douche-Bag Central!! – If for some strange reason you are wondering where NYC's biggest D-bags and fake plastic soul-less bitches congregate, well, I have the answer. It's this horrible disgusting place called Southside. I've been living in NYC for 15 years. Never have I seen such a concentration of trust-fund D-bags and nasty girls.
If this place burned to the ground while at full capacity (and all the employees were able to escape) killing everyone inside, then NYC (and this world) would be a much, much better place!!
Avoid this place unless you enjoy being around hallow, soul-less people.
toolarama.. tourists only.. beware – wow how is this place still open? especially given the recession.. so many good places to go to.. yet the toolfest continues.. it is kind of amusing you must admit
D- bags all around – If I could some how leave a flaming bag of poo via the internet over this place I would. The people / investors that work here have no idea what the value of a customer means. They threw me and my friends out even after we bought a bottle all because this one "ausie" investor showed up to hang out with his friends and their bag of snow. The only thing this place has is a decent atmosphere, drinks are over priced, staff is rude and bouncers are way to physical.
Citysearch Editorial Review – With their subterranean hot spot Southside, Tom and Anthony Martignetti have solidified their place in the world of New York City nightlife. The crowd is a mixed brood of boarding schoolers-turned-Wall Streeters, pretty young girls and friends of the brothers. A long, wide hallway adorned with palm trees leads to a dark, swanky bar room with banquettes that boast built-in subwoofers. The rest of the joint has been classed-up with palm tree wallpaper, a pressed tin ceiling and a DJ booth that churns out a mix of pop favorites and rock classics (think T.I.-meets-Spoon). The later (and boozier) it gets, the less likely the chances of going home solo--but isn't that the point?
