my personal fav!. I love the atmoshpere here! Drinks are amazing. Great Bourbon selection which is hard to find in the city! The food is also amazing! Great laid back crowd!

ok, but a little rude. Experience was 'ok', a little quiet though and quite a narrow bar which makes movement difficult. $3 cover charge when I went on a friday. Barman was rude when I forgot to tip (I am a Brit and it required conscious thought)

Great Bar, lots of fun. We went here over the weekend and had a great time. The food was great, the service was good, and the drinks were not expensive and did the job well.

We had a great time over all and will be back to the donkey soon.

Great Music/Barkeeps on Tuesdays. I've been going to The Blue Donkey on Tuesday nights for a couple of weeks now, mainly because the music has been so great. The bartenders bring vinyl and play whole sides of records, and always a nice mix of albums. I stick with the $2 High Life, but I'm pretty sure everything costs standard dive bar prices. Friendly bartenders and no pretentious crowds. For someone who is usually in Alphabet City, this was a nice surprise for an UWS joint.

Great Happy Hour! Great Staff. Came here with some friends the other night and we had a blast. The drinks are inexpensive and poured well. There is plenty of games and things to keep you entertained. We also got some food from homer's next door and it was great. I loved the tacos!!! I will definitely be coming back more often
