If you’re into prawn ceviche and caipirinhas and firepits (and who isn’t??), you’ll love this lively Peruvian spot, with its elegant indoor-outdoor spaces, people-watching patio, and popular happy hour. (Late night HH on Fri & Sat nights from 9-10pm too!)

The food was good. Might even have been great. But they barely gave us a chance to taste any of it. There were empty tables so there was no need for the haste. They rushed us through every course. In fact they placed every course on the table at the same time. Salad, appetizer, entree. All at once. Not a very relaxing or enjoyable experience. We wouldn't go back.

Absolutely amazing experience, everything was perfect! – From the time that we arrived, we felt right at home. The staff was incredibly friendly, held the door open as we walked in and seated us immediately. From there, each course was amazing, even the bread and dipping sauce (which changes each night?) was incredible. I can't remember the last time that I had yuca frita this incredible, not to mention the ceviche (that is so much better than at Andina, which we also love) and the salads. From there, the main courses were great and again, can't remember the last time that lamb was prepared so perfectly. Then came dessert. DO NOT miss the molten chocolate cake with dulce deleche. Absolutely incredible. And to top it off, the chef opened the door for us as we thanked him on the way out. This is definitely one of Portland's best new spots and should become a repeat event!

Giving Andina a run for their money... – Del Inti specializes in Peruvian cuisine with a NW twist and makes unique flavor combinations accessible to those who like new and different food AND to those who like a more classic dish too. I was impressed that even on a busy Art Walk night they were prompt in their service. I didn't have to order an appetizer due to the fact my meal came out so promptly. I had the lamb over a bean stew with a zesty cilantro sauce. It was by the far the most tender lamb I have ever had! The portions were good, not too large. For the $18 - 22 range for most dinner entrees it's definitely worth the money. They do have a happy hour at the bar too. Dinner reservations require no party minimum. For the pleasant upscale environment and quality food it's worth the visit.

Cultural Fare and Stellar Service on Alberta Street – I attended the grand opening and have been back many times for dinner and for brunch. I love the feel of the place--sitting outside during a Portland winter is great, and the firepit garden area is beautiful--and I really appreciate the menu, especially since new items pop up regularly. But my favorite thing about del Inti is the staff and the constant attention they give to providing friendly service and appreciating their customers, both of which feel like rare treats in Portland. As an Alberta neighborhood resident, I really appreciate the addition of del Inti and highly recommend them.

Amazing atmosphere, fantastic cuisine – The entrance of Del Inti was an indication of how amazing my dining experience would be. To the right of the front door is an covered outside seating area and to the right is very cool decorated fire pit, which looks inviting for evening cocktails. The interior decor is well designed and classy. We were kindly greeted for our reservation and seated in the dining area. We were pleased that we made reservations, because the restaurant filled up quickly. We started with the mixta ceviche and dungeness crab causa. Both items paired well with the wine our waiter suggested. For the main course, we ordered the special which was a Northwest themed seasonal dish with wild salmon, squash, and chantrelle mushrooms. Our other entree was jumbo scallops with fresh spinach and a rice base. These entrees were very fresh and delectable. Although, we were rather satiated from all of the fantastic dinner items, we could not resist the pumpkin creme brulee. I am glad we didn't opt out of dessert this time, because it was dynamite. Del Inti is a new gem to add all of the fantastic restaurants on Alberta. Update: I went back for their sunday brunch and it was dynamite!
