Hidden Gem on the South Water Front – Without a doubt this is my new favorite eatery on the waterfront. If you want inspired Asian dishes at affordable prices look no further. The service was friendly and attentive. Try the Mango margarita! Yum. Parking can be a little challenging but worth the walk.
MY NEW FAVORITE PLACE – I love this place and would eat there every time we go out....(which is a lot) I know, I know....lots of other places to explore too....but it is so good! Can't go wrong with Bambuza.
Good food! – The food here is very good, they have lunch sandwiches that are good and cheap. The happy hour is good too. They have the best crispy fried spring rolls I have ever had. The atmosphere is clean and modern, and the people are friendly! Its just a bummer they are closed on Sundays, but they need rest too.
Good food – The food was delicious food and the waiters were friendly. The inside looks very clean and modern but still warm and cozy.
Pretty good food – I'm not sure what the last reviewer was talking about, but the first time I went to Bambuza, I had a really good experience. The ambiance was amazing--the decor and the lighting was perfect. The food was quite good and service was decent as well. The manager even came over and greeted us. I thought it was a nice personal touch. Overall, I'd definitely go back again.
Modern Vietnamese fare in the growing South Waterfront neighborhood. – In Short
This chic Asian bistro glows invitingly for waterfront condo dwellers after dusk with its silk orange ceiling lanterns and walls lined with timber bamboo. The small dining room overlooks an open kitchen framed by papaya-hued walls where chefs fry up sarters of crispy shrimp and pork spring rolls and honey glazed walnut prawns. A selection of noodle soups such as pho, Vietnamese sandwiches, noodle and rice bowls, and house specialties of lemongrass chili chicken and coconut curry round out the deep menu offerings.
Bambuza serves leftovers – I started eating at the Bambuza pretty much since it opened at the South Waterfront. They started out very good (i.e. tasty food, lovely atmosphere, fairly fast service).
I went there again this afternoon with a friend and had the grilled chicken bowl with crispy spring rolls. Hate to be saying this, but the food was below room temperature and it's quite obvious that the spring rolls were fried over half hour ago. It was my first lunch with this friend, and he seemed to be very happy with what he ordered so I kept my situation on a low.
But if you're reading this, Mr./Mrs. store manager, please keep the leftovers for your dinner.
