Carve is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! – We go there 1 to 2 times a year and the food is to die for!!! The rooms are nice and inexpensive, again the rooms are so inexpensive and new. The Carve restaurant always treats us like rockstars, excellent service, melt in your mouth steaks, the creme brule is PHENOMINAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I swear it is better than %&$ !!!! Just crazy awesome exceptional food!! They have great service, which really does lack here in las vegas....not here, service is a 10!!! This is a wonderful experience all the time and the prices are reasonable!!!!!

Snaps Restaurant ES Cannery LV NV – First, we were disappointed in the Philly Cheese Steak.

The server could hardly understand or speak English. She was of Asian (PH) heritage. WORST: Their cash register automatically adds 20% to the bill (as an automatic gratuity?) but DOES NOT tell you on your check stub that comes from the computer register. What you sign for is the amount of the bill (we left a nice tip on the table) which says the correct amount, but when I got home and verified the check stub v.s. what was debited from my checking acct it was $4.75 more!

They were'nt authorized to do this! It's my money, and it automatically reduces my 'available balance' until it is supposedly corrected in a few days.

This is a MAJOR casino. The cafe is 'glorified Denny's' not a 5 star restaurant with a notice on the menu telling the customer that they add automatically a 20% gratituty to all bills as is their policy.

Recap: Service couldn't be understood without repeating at least 3X in English.

The Food, at best is, mediocre, esp. for the price.

They charge your debit/credit card 20% more than your check stub you receive from the computer register you sign and authorize for!

Snaps has good food, some even excellent...no kidding – I'M GLAD WE TRIED SNAPS FIRST because if i had eaten at that yucky buffet first, i never would have dared to try snaps, but snaps is a very convenient, consistent and surprisingly high quality 24 hr. cafe.

we travel by RV and stay in vegas for extended periods of time so we are always looking for a good place to eat which also allows take-out 24/7, and snaps fills that bill quite well..of course it is not "gourmet fair" , but it is very hard to find take-out at all in las vegas

it has a much better than average 11pm-7am graveyard breakfast @ $1.99, a yummy stack of pancakes or a hearty 2 eggs, two bacon or sausage, hashbrowns and choice of toast breakfast. if you order coffee you get your own pot

the iced tea is awesome, a small detail, but can make a big difference...it's brewed, not premixed fountain style like you so often find in vegas, plenty of ice, plenty strong,

the regular breakfasts are great too, french toast is especially yummy, thick and custardy or you can have it encrusted with frosted flakes for your sweet tooth.

amoung our favorites are the potato salad(red skinned potatoes, crispy celery), macaronni salad, the 5 alarm chili is my daughter's favorite (not really 5 alarm, maybe a 1 alarm heat factor) any breakfast entree, THE BEST bacon sandwiches piled high with thick crispy crunchy bacon, green leafy lettuce, thick tomato slices and a big juicy pickle, hubby likes the spaghetti, it's pretty normal to me, and while the salads are good, i've had several experiences with limp lettuce.

i saved the best of the food for last...their chinese menu is so good they should almost call this "snap the golden dragon" or something more asian. a waitperson told us the chefs were from china and were really good...they were correct....we like the tempura fried style chicken dishes, their stir fried chicken was weird and smelled like fish (i thought it was calamari by mistake) the orange chicken and sweet and sour are yummy , so good we have not tried much of anything else. fried rice is so good you will want to substitute it for steamed, egg rolls were a bit main stream nothing fancy.

oh! the carrot cake...always moist, plenty of real cream cheese frosting, nuts and just the right amount of raisins (not too many) a big healthy sized slice.

check your take out very carefully, we have found mistakes at home even when we had checked it most carefully in the restaurant...they seem to be able to mess up anything in take out, typical for take out everywhere.

i probably should have mentioned our favorite wait person earlier, but since he IS the best i saved him for last, ask for Dean when you go, a sweet, attentive guy, who deserves and earns his tips. he's in nursing school and as a student, really needs those tips...very nice to visit with if it's a slow night!

while Snaps isn't a 5 star gourmet extravaganza, it IS a nice consistent, convenient, dependable, place to eat on the Boulder strip, good food around the clock...perfect for those nights when you have a decent machine or steady streak of gambling that takes you into the wee hours and past a few meals before you realize what time it is...

Great specials – This coffee shop was offering two graveyard $1.99 breakfast breakfast specials and we tried both. Ms. Westie chose the 2 eggs (easy over), toast, bacon and hash browns while I feasted on 2 pancakes and bacon. Both were very well executed and service was attentive.

Early the next week I requested a comp from the Slot Shift Supervisor and received one for $25. Ms. Westie and I each ordered OJ, an avocado omelet and bacon. The omelets were satisfactory, but nothing to write home about. The bill was an amazing $22.78.
