Overall Dissapointing Experience – After visiting Asia De Cuba iN argentina I heard about the Miami location and decided to make a rec=servation to celebrate a special occasion, my 27th wedding anniversary. I made the reservation a week in advance for 9:45pm. I arrived to find a huge line to get to the reservation agent. After 10 minutes I made it to the fron to find out there were no tables available. I was asked to wait a few minutes that I would be call on my cell phone. I waited more than 30 minutes and went back to re-confirm the status of my reservation. I was tld that a table would be available in 5 minutes. Another 20 minutes went by and I decided to leave. I made it to another nearby restaurant and finally received the call for my table, at 11:00pm. Unfortunately, Asia De Cuba turn my special ocassion into a dissapointing memory. I would never go back or reccomend this chaotic place to anyone looking for a memorable experience.

East meets "oeste" at this opulent SoBe ethnic eatery. – In Short
Blending Cuban with Asian cuisines is still a surprisingly rare balancing act in Miami. Izzy's Cubi Thai in Miami Beach, Oriente in South Beach, and Abokado in Brickell do their best to give Cuban staples ethnic twists in Thai, Chinese, and Japanese respectively. The bold fusion is now getting its ritziest college try at the trendy Mondrian. Stamping its passport all over Asia, you can find dishes like spring rolls filled with Cuban braised beef, crab croquettes, or the "ropa vieja" delicacy made with duck legs instead of shredded beef. The signature taste bud spinner is the picatuna, where tuna tartare sits in for ground beef in the island's traditional "picadillo" entrée. Despite the bright white upscale décor, your palate will thank you for the rainbow of flavors.
