Avoid – Me and some co-workers went out to enjoy a nice lunch outside. We get there and we are told 25 minutes for a table outside, understandable, so we go and eat inside. Food sucked. Had some pizza and it was horrible, tons of cheese on a tortilla slice with no sauce. There is nothing special about this place, best go to Pizza Hut, at least you don't have to pay 3 dollars for each additional fountain drink refill. What a joke. Stay clear of this train wreck.

Great venue for a bad "restaurant" – I went there for lunch today and was dissappointed. I ordered the wild mushroom pizza and the last time I checked WILD mushrooms didn't come sliced in a can. The pizza was a couple of tortillas, a smigeon of pesto, a ton of cheese with canned mushrooms. It was not good. My friend's chicken sandwich was decent though.

Also, to the point below they actually charge you for refills on well drinks! Seriously! Where else does that? You pay $3.50 for a glass of ice and some syryp/water mixture and you'll pay that again when you get a refill. We weren't told and I'm sure this is for a reason. It's not a lot of money but the princpal.

In summary I would say that this place is good for drinks after work in the summer but eat somewhere else before you go. I would have given it a three star rating were it not for the charging for refills on well drinks.

what is the deal with refills? – Here's how it is. We went to have some good lunch at this place. First off we could not get a seat outside facing the river but that is understandable but the thing which was crazy was that you would have to pay $3.00 for a Coke and they charge you for refills (They wont tell you about that till you pay the bill. It's a SUPRIZE!!!! :-) ). The food is not great either!

Fabulous Margaritas! – This place is just fantastic. The best margarita in the city. And the place is just so pretty by the water & boat marina. It makes u feel like you are on vacation even though its just happy hour after work downtown. Excellent service. I had some appetizers at the bar, but the entrees looked great too. Keep up the good work!

Avoid! Bad service, smelly bar! – I work in the same building and would always go after work for a drink, specially Tuesday and have a blast with the cute bartenders.

What since the strongest bartender left this place is going nowhere but downhill. All bartenders are new, they don't make good drinks and everytime my friend ordered a glass of wine, the glass would have stains of lipstick... at least wash the glasses!!!

Last Saturday night I went with my girlfriend, we were sitting the bar tables, when suddenly we saw 3 little shadows running around! I approched the bar to talk to the bartender and the whole center bar stinks like dead animal!

The manager was nowhere to be found and the bartender told me that they know about "the roedent situation", but they have not done anything (yet).

Disgusting!

terrible customer service – I have ordered from there several times but today was my first time actually going there - and I'll never do it again. I ordered a takeout item and after I had been rung up, given my receipt and sat there for a while, the bartender informed me it was unavailable. I asked for a refund because I didn't want anything else. She told me she'd refunded my money but when I asked for a receipt or some kind of proof to that effect she said they could not/would not provide one. I asked for a manager as I wasn't about to just take her word that I'd gotten a refund - I've never EVER gone into a business that wouldn't provide a receipt or some kind of computer printout when issuing a refund, especially as they give you a receipt when they charge you! The manager came out and was rude - he had the nerve to ask me why I couldn't just wait to see if I was charged and then come back to complain. Obviously this place isn't concerned with retaining customers or with providing good customer service. I was incredibly disgusted with their overall attitude and highly doubt I'll ever go there again.

Good service and drinks, great view – Had a great dinner and drinks there with friends last week. The last time we were there we were charged for some extra drinks and I wrote an email to the manager to complain about it. This time we were served by the manager, who came to our table several times to make sure everything was good and to apologize for what happened last time. We all make mistakes but its the aftermath that matters. Southwest has definitely redeemed itself in my eyes and I will be going there again. The mango mojitos, the mushroom pizza and the goat cheese saled are great!!!

Great drinks, decent food, horrible customer service – I have gone to SWNY many times. The food is decent and the drinks are great. My problem with this place is the customer service. My party was sat under an ac vent, that did not turn on until after we received the app. Well all of sudden the ac turned on, I have never felt ac air so strong, I felt like I had my car window open and I was driving 60 mph, that is how intense this wind was. We complained and they turned off the ac. Then we received the main course and not even after one minute they turned the ac back on, well in seconds my meal was cooled down. We asked again about the ac and that is when the manager said no to turning it off and they Finally Moved us. I thought it was inappropriate for them to move us once we got the main course. They should have taken care of the problem and either moved us at the first complaint or just turned off the ac so are food was not cold. I thought is was horrible of the manager to make such a bad call.

great bar – this is a great place to get nice and drunk and then be able to step outside for a cigarette using the back door which overlooks the wfc marina and the hudson
