great place to stay! – We went to New Orleans for a weekend trip, we booked our hotel online only to find that it was a DUMP when we arrived. We googled and found the Clarion Grand Boutique hotel and decided to give it a try. When we walked in the girl at the front desk was VERY helpful and even matched our rate that were were getting at the other hotel. The rooms were very nice with very comfortable beds. FREE valet parking on site-The valet attendants were very nice didnt waste anytime getting our car. The hotel is somewhat small (only 3 floors) so it wasnt loud and busy all night. There is a resturant on the bottom floor of the hotel and they have the BEST steak that i have ever tasted. What we loved about this hotel was that it wasnt right in the middle of everything but that it wasnt far away from the Riverwalk and Aquarium and the tolly runs right in front of the hotel. We would stay here again. Very pleased

If you're hankering for the 1980s, you'll find yourself at home amidst the purple painted archways, large print fabrics, modern art in shiny black frames and Jacuzzi suites with mood lighting. Even if you're not a fan of this dubious decorating era, it is hard to beat the location along historic St. Charles Avenue. This is the place to be during Mardi Gras when parades pass right out front. Thanks to the streetcar, it's also a manageable distance from nearly everything else the city has to offer.
The hotel caters to romance, families and business, outfitting all rooms with cable TV (pay movies and Nintendo, too), two telephones with voice mail, data ports, microwaves, refrigerators and more. Complimentary breakfast is served in the lobby adjacent to Copeland's Cheesecake Bistro, an unofficial spin-off of the Cheesecake Factory chain, where a massive menu offers something for every craving. Guests may pay $5 per day for access to the neighboring health club.
