So worth it!! – I've been to Market Buckhead several times and I can honestly say it gets better every time! The food quality and preparation is unique and quite tasty while the service is top notch. The server, Ron, was dead on and suggested fabulous wine for our meal.

The new general manager actually visited our table during dinner to make sure that the meal was everything we had hoped for...it was!! We had the Parmesan crusted pea soup (to die for), warm goat cheese custard (heaven sent) and the grilled bacon wrap shrimp (wow). Then entrees followed - Rack of lamb, Seared Scallops and Cod. YUMMY is all I can say. I will definitely be going back again and again and I would recommend it both locals and tourists. Pricing is reasonable, too.

We finished off the evening in the bar area called "The Living Room" with some Live Jazz, which was apparently they have every Thursday night!! The bartender, Dana, was one the best I have ever seen and her drinks were out of this world - try the Pineapple Mojito and Ginger Margarita.

Overall, we couldn't have had a better experience. We will definitely be back. I recommend it to ONE AND ALL!!!

Loved it! – I had a great experience at Market Buckhead! The service was phenomenal and the food was delicious.

While we waited for our meal, we had a drink in the living room - what a cool place to go and grab a cocktail - but not only a 'pretty people' place - you saw everything from fancy dresses to shorts (it is in the bottom of the W after all)! They had this amazing popcorn - I think it was gouda - and the bar service was second to none!

We then sat in the main dining room (look at that amazing light/sculpture thing!) and had our meal. Started with the pea soup - I would come back again just for the soup. They do this crazy Parmesan whip on the top that just left my mouth watering.

For my main course, I had the Pork Chop that was delicious and my dining partner had the shrimp salad. She fell in love!

We didn't have dessert (come on after popcorn, soup, and dinner - who needs more) but the table next to us did and it looked delicious.

We sat inside - but the patio looks like fun as well - I am hoping to come back for their jazz night!

Thanks for a wonderful dining experience.... I was concerned with it being in a hotel - but it really stood its ground and was a fantastic evening. Food, Service, etc. was all top notch!

Highly overrated fad – I went here with a friend for a saturday night fine dining experience. First of all, knowing that parking is a difficult in Buckhead, we decided to valet at the hotel. After battling a crowd, we were told the parking is 12 up front for 2 hours plus $8 for every extra half hour. We thought fine, we're out for a nice night, we can probably get done in 2 hours.

When we got into the restaraunt, a 14 yr old looking hostess was very confused about what to do with us when we said we don't have a reservation. Mind you, at least 4 or 5 tables were open. After conferring with another hostess, she proceeded to seat us. The cheapest glass of wine on the menu was $11 - absolutely ridiculous even for a fine dining place. Fine, we order two glasses of wine and appetizers and wait. And wait. And wait. After what seemed like at least a half an hour, the waitress finally brings us drinks. I ask where is the bathroom - and am told to go upstairs down the hall around the bend and some more turns. Fine if this is a local bar, for a fine dining place, I expect the bathroom to be on the same floor as the main dining room. Ok, no big deal, maybe the food will make up for it. We order ribs and shrimp. The ribs are good, nothing special though, and the shrimp is overcooked. Being familiar with the restaurant industry, it just seemed like the shrimp sat in the warming window for waaaay too long waiting for the other dish and thus tasted rubbery. Throughout the night, we had to keep reminding our waitress about our requests, and she proceeded to apologize about 10 times, which in itself was annoying. After dinner, we leave the restaurant and wait in a crazy line to get our car. We wait and wait and no one takes our ticket. Finally, we ask what we need to do to get our car and are told by another customer to go to a window and pay for our ticket first and then they will bring up our car. We end up paying $20 for parking, $150 for dinner, and are still hungry when we leave. This is NOT a fine dining experience I look forward to on a saturday night.

Food From Heaven, Noise From Hell! – After a long day of work at Lenox Square, on a Saturday night, I just decided to visit the very hot W Buckhead, and give Market my take. No reservation on a Saturday, for a single, no problem. The hostess was with the mostest., led me to cozy little banquette, and I slid in to relax and enjoy. My waiter promptly arrived, menus in hand, and I started out with a Lemongrass Mint Juelp! What a blast with the combo of lemongrass and mint. The place was really starting to hop, so I thought I would be overlooked, being a single on Saturday night. Wrong! My waiter, Bob, kept a watchful eye. Even the manager stopped by my table twice. I felt like a celeb. My starter/salad was the Warm Shrimp Salad w/Champaigne Dressing. The Shrimps tasted as if they were steamed in butter. One of the best salads in memory. Braised Beef Short Ribs were devine, giving competition to Jean-Georges Spice Market,'s chili rubbed Short Ribs. This dining destination is right for the make-over of Buckhead. Buckhead's old school, the hipsters, wealthy Asian Schoolgirls, and the past forty-second time arounders, trying to make an impression, were all here. This place is an instant winner. One of Jean-Goerges best. But be warned, it's the damn loudest place I've ever been. Great design, but the accoustics were forgotten. Get some earlplugs, and enjoy.

Jean George's latest creation lands in the trendy W Buckhead. – In Short
Curving teakwood walls and slim, low-riding white-buttoned booths make this small-yet-spacious restaurant feel like a fancy hotel eatery circa 1969 Hollywood. Its pretty design and sophisticated ambiance makes both businessmen from the 'burbs and artists from Castleberry feel equally cool. While Jean Georges' first Atlanta restaurant is all about Asian street food, his second venture's menu is influenced less by a region and more by simple, fresh fare. Bubbly thin crust pizzas come topped with the likes of ahi tuna and wasabi cream, or black truffles and fontina cheese. Steamed skate (from the sting ray family) is delicately and beautifully presented in a tea broth with pumpkin seeds over butternut squash. Popping accompaniment such as ginger and grapefruit make apps and entrees stay light on the pallet. While Buckhead has become the power corner of NY transplant dining, this jewel has a feel of a bright, fresh-conscious LA.

Excellent Margaritas, Fantastic Appetizers – I visited Market with a group of girlfriends for a fun Saturday night out and we had just that. We shared a number of the appetizers which were all tasty and fun - the goat cheese one is unbelievable and I don't like goat cheese that much. Drinks were strong and delicious and I highly recommend the ruby red cocktail or the pomegranate margarita. Entrees were good (beef tenderloin was cooked perfectly) but I might have preferred to just have another round of appetizers and hold out for desserts. The chocolate cake dish was gooey and wonderful though friends also loved the cheesecake and lemon meringue. The staff was attentive and helpful. All in all a great dinner and a lot of fun.

The worst food and service that I have ever experienced EVER! – I invited 8 friends to celebrate an anniversary and made reservations at Market thinking that any Jean-George restaurants would have to be incredible. We were seated against a wall as far away from the servers as possible. We must have had 10 people serving our table, no one could be bothered to refill any of our glasses. We ordered on the recommendation of the server one of the appetizer pizzas which never arrived (no apologies). Each time on of the "servers" would come to the table they would just stand there - if we asked for something it was like we were speaking swahili. My organic chicken was desert dry and inedible. The well done tenderloin was raw but it took so long to show up we were afraid to send it back. The manager came over and we told her that we would like some drink refills at which point she asked my friend what drinks he wanted like it was a McDonald's drive through. The hamburgers came without any ketchup and were finished before the requested ketchup ever showed up. The only highlight of our meal was a cake we brought in from Matty Cakes! We ordered coffee that never showed up and then we couldn't get anyone to run our credit cards so we could get out of there. As we were leaving the waiter was bringing up the iced tea we ordered 1/2 an hour ago. Then as we left we were told that since we went over the two hour limit we owed $6 for parking. UNREAL - it was the WORST and wasn't cheap either. Love to know who came up with the wonderful paper placemat concept - we just couldn't stop laughing it was so bad it was comical. There were three good things about the meal - the company, the cake we brought and the decor. Don't waste a night out at this place the economy is in the toilet, your dinner and service shouldn't!
