Birthday Blast! – I hosted my boyfriend’s birthday party here last week and it was absolutely amazing! Not only did they accommodate our 20+ friends but the food was fantastic and everyone was really enjoying themselves. The staff did a great job dealing with such a large group and managing our a million requests. Would definitely host another party here in a heart beat!!
Frickle a Pickle – Love every brother jimmy's location. Each one is situated in a great area and caters to the bbq luvin eater. it's a great happy hour spot or place to hit up before any event or concert. Who doesn't love them some swamp water fish bowls! Great atmosphere for a good time.
Awesome Hangout Spot – Great place to spend some time with friends. Cool hangout for guys to watch a game and girls to chat.
Clean, fun atmosphere and delicious food, especially their chicken wings!!
Polite and pleasant staff helps create a easy going, fun loving vibe all around.
LoadsOfFunInAPackedPickleJar – Frequenter of the BJ's in Murray Hill, our group of friends always walks away from this place with a funny story or a new list of pick-up lines. Although it gets pretty crowded- you'll eventually feel like you're in a packed pickle jar- it's a great time for all. A lot of guys go here to watch the game- and their attention stays on the game..but there are still a lot of hot girls that find their way to conversation with the boys of BJ's! Fun Spot altogether- and I've heard their BBQ is mmmmm!
Great for NFL Sundays – Since like most we don't have DirecTv, we transplants have to go somewhere to watch our fav. teams on Sunday. So I come migrate here, good specials on Sunday for Beer, and Always a TV playing your team. Warning it does get pretty crowded, so come in early.
Metal484 – Me and a few friends went to brother jimmys for new years eve and I gotta say that it was great! $100 per person for endless booze and a 3 course meal was the way to go but you did have the option of pay as you go. The staff was very friendly and laid back, the place wasn't packed which we have hoped for. Its just a great place to come visit from the outer boroughs especially If you want to try to avoid the typical snotty night crowd of manhattan.
great place to meet with friends – when you go to brother jimmys it is like taking a vacation from life! the atmosphere and cute servers along with ribs and beer make this the place to go to..
Brother Jimmy's doesn't disappoint – Brother Jimmy's is THE spot for my friends and I, and their Lex location is perfect for an after-work run-in. My fav's: for an appetizer, I usually order hush puppies (the maple butter is to die for) and my favorite for dinner is the BBQ grilled chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries. Everything I've ever tried here has been great, though, and you really can't beat homecooked BBQ at such a decent price. Weekend evenings are also fun--join in on the exciting crowd and you may even make a new friend or two.
Amazing place for group outings – I recently went to Brother Jimmy's with my friends from college before hitting up the bars in the East Village. Although it seemed a bit crowded for my liking at first, the bartenders served us immediately and we had no problems getting our drinks. After 5 minutes, we were already running into people we knew and of course, stayed at Brother Jimmy's all night. Brother Jimmy's offers a great place to socialize with fun young people in the city, dance to good music or just relax and have a platter of their awesome wings. Oh yes, must try the fishbowl.
Overall a great time! – I've been here quite a few times and absolutely love the place. It's fun with an extremely energetic atmosphere...not to mention that the food is great too! I love to go to there on Wednesdays when it's Southern Appreciation Night. BJ's will give you a discount with a southern license and will play the occasional country song for all of the country music lovers out there. I've been there other days of the week as well and have had the same great experience.
