Best Service of any Salon in Seattle!.
Wow, talk about customer service! They treat you like a queen (or king) from the minute you walk in the door. Everyone introduces themselves to you and shakes your hand. They make sure you have something to drink and are very social. A lot of upscale salons, the staff seem stuck up and rude, ignoring you and treating you like you are not good enough. But not at Sassoon Salon! They make you feel special and welcome.
I had about 4 or 5 people work on me, which is a bit unusual. I am just used to one person who takes you to the chair, shampoos your hair and does your cut. But they had a different person for each of those tasks.
The salon's decor is real nice and the bathrooms are pretty cool too. They have kind of a futuristic look to them.
When you leave they give you coupons for your next visit, and give you the business cards of all the staff who worked on you.
I got a hair cut and deep conditioning treatment. It was fabulous! The scalp massage you get is truly amazing! So refreshing and sooooo good!
Fabulous Salon!

Swoon for Sassoon.
A year ago, who would have thought one of the most prestigious salons in the world would open their doors in the heart of the shopping district of downtown Seattle?
Well, it happened, and they are bringing light, color, shine and movement to the women of this great city.
Sassoon Salon sits on 5th and Union with their enormous reputation, creating sophisticated looks, rivaling top salons on the streets of Seattle. The stylists are the best around - brought from out of state, trained vigorously at the Sassoon Academy to be passionate about bringing your best look forward.
Announce your arrival to the front desk, and while you wait in the seating area, surrounded by the latest in fashion magazines and pop culture, a member of the staff will greet you, offering water (bubbly or tap), tea or coffee. Being quick to consciously point out that YOU are the most important person in the room.
Quick on their feet, these stylists waste no time in studying your hair and style. Conceiving the best look for you and what will suite your comfort level and lifestyle.
Chatting with the stylist about how I am growing my hair out and want a little more life and vavoom, they suggested the Gloss Treatment to liven it up and have more shine - giving my hair a healthier tone.
The Gloss Treatment is non chemical, meaning there will be no burning sensation on your head - just the cool touch of the gel being applied. Once complete, a
not-so-flattering plastic cap is placed on your head as you are led to the space age/modern hair dryers that won't leave you feeling claustrophobic and the fan is very quiet so you can gossip amongst the stylists or the other ladies having their treatments under the dryer.
After a quick blow dry and style, your makeover is complete. Leaving the salon with a fresh, quick style that will last for weeks (mine is still going strong after a week and a half) you are free to strut your stuff down the streets of Seattle. Don't worry, those double takes from men (and women) are compliments!

Makes you feel like a million bucks..
This 5th avenue salon is one of only 13 in the US and has been in Seattle for only a year or so. The vidal has been previosly dropped from the name, but still this salon is connected to the commercials of your youth. Pay parking is available in the Red Lion Hotel Garage next door which makes this less of a hassle than having to find street parking in downtown Seattle. Staff are very attentive, continually offerring beverages, gathering magazines, taking your belongings from you, etc. Stylists offer suggestions about hairstyles and provide advice on how to maintain your new cut. Color is also available. Shampooing is amazing and comes with a little head massage that leaves you feeling beautiful. Prices vary but can be on the expensive side for the higher level stylists, but I hear prices are less than some other similar places in town. Everyone is super friendly.

I lived here for a year now and just noticed Vidal Sassoon is here!! I used to go there in Miami and assumed there wasn't one here. Found out they have been here since February!! I went in there the other day and got an amazing haircut and color. I felt so good walking out of there knowing i finally have good hair again!
