great service – My heat went out again this year for the third time in the last seven years. This time I skipped the one man shows and called Biggs. The guy came out the next morning and quoted me a lower price than I expected. We discussed how often my unit had problems and he had his project manager come right out. The project manager quoted me a price based on the efficiency I wanted and I went to the credit union. As soon as I had the financing I called back and the next morning the installation began. There were a total of 6 guys who worked that day between 8 and about 4. They finished, cleaned up, tested everything and left. The system works perfectly. The JoCo inspector passed it quickly and said he liked how they set up my drain clean out for the evaporator run off. Quoted one day and done the next. Sure beats the guy who left me 5 days without heat because it was snowing and he couldn’t get out to bring back the fan and motor. I recommend this company. The price was not cheap, but the work and the materials installed were quality.

The owner helpes provide peace of mind – When you call, the owner is the one who sets up all the estimates and jobs/repairs. Its nice to know that the owner is so involved and it helps provide peace of mind.

Biggs is Truly a Professional, Top Quality Business – I read a few of the reviews below and I can only believe they are from a disgruntled former employee or someone who doesn't want Biggs H&A to get business, because they were top quality from beginning to end.
Last spring, I interviewed five different Heating and Air Professionals. I finally chose Biggs since I was so impressed with their representative, Paul, who was extremely honest, professional and willing to work with the financials. He didn't pressure me at all, yet he guided me on what would best suit our home's needs. My instinct was to hire them at that meeting--I did, and it was the best decision we made with a major home purchase.
His team showed up on time, were all friendly but got right to work, finished on time and made sure everything was working. They even sent another representative the same day to give us a personal tutorial on how to work the new digital keypad.
Most impressive of all, was that all of the fiancials figured to the penny. We got all of our rebates and tax refunds exactly as Paul said we would, and saved thousands of dollars. Our Lennox unit (we got the 15-Seer, and actually came to the same as 13-Seer with all the rebates/etc) is awesome and we have saved at least half of our energy bill each month from our very old (24 year old Trane) energy sucker. We are very very happy and impressed with Biggs, Paul and the whole team, and most of all our new system.
TOOK MONEY - DID NOTHING - NEVER HEARD BACK – Our A/C wasn't working and I called American Home Shield and they sent out Biggs HVAC on an emergency basis, who arrived Sunday mid-morning. He looked at the unit and saw there was ice on the unit and said he couldn't do anything. He had already gotten $60 from my husband. He said he couldn't do anything until the ice melted which would require turning off the fan. Two hours later, the ice was melted. Biggs never called back to fix the unit nor have they ever called back. They took money and did absolutely nothing! Must be nice.
Overpricing doesn't come close to defining this company! – If I could give ZERO Star Rating I would. This company's motto is "Big Enough to Serve, Small Enough to Care" yet this could not be further from the truth. My AC went out this afternoon, it was 90 degrees in Raleigh and we needed the AC fixed. Although I was informed of the $119.00 trip charge for the Saturday after hours call, I would never in a million years have guessed this "Small Enough to Care" company would charge another $129.50 to change out a light switch that would cost at most $1.00 at any home center and a $4.00 environmental fee for a grand total of $252.50. Seriously, it took the guy longer to write up the bill and process the payment then to change out the switch. What made me the angriest is that I asked the guy for a quote once he told me it was a defective switch and he said he had to go back out to his van to check the pricing. He came back in the house and never said a word, he just performed the work and then told me the price. STAY AWAY!!!!
Friendly and fast service – I was referred by my realtor and the tech that came out could not have been nicer. The appointment was easy to set and the work was completed within 2 days of calling. I recommended this company to my parents as well.
