NICOLO SERVES THE STARS – When Mel Gibson films in Boston, he calls Amy at Nicolo's in Melrose to get his facials at his Hotel.

When the touring Broadway Casts of Broadway hit shows come to Boston they Call Diane to get the leads hair done and any stand out cast members.

I have known of Nicolo's for over 30 years and they are a REDKEN SELECT SALON and stay up with the current trends and all the staff maintain continuing education in the most recent state of the art services. I am a regular for over 15 years!

Suzzane is one of REDKENS stage cutters for the REDKEN salon shows.

The Salon is filled with talented cutters and colorists and they give the best customer service of any Salon in the Boston Metro Northwest Area.

I am sorry for your experience, but you have the wrong salon, we do not do chemical straightening systems.

I assure you if you were not happy in our salon, we would have accomodated you in a much more satisfactory manner.

Eh - – I had been a customer at this salon for over 10 years and really like the salon. My regular stylist left so I tried a newly hired stylist. I had my hair straightened the stylist did a horrible job. I woke up the next morning with a burned scalp and my hair hair was falling out. When I called her in tears, she said I must have not followed her instructions. I asked for a refund and instead got a "complimentary" intense hair conditioning treatment. Again, I asked for a refund - my scalp was burnt and my hair was falling out for crying out loud.. She told me she had called the product manufacturer and lodged a complaint but couldn't give me a refund but promised my next cut would be on the house.

Another time I showed up for my appointment and the stylist was running behind, which happens, I understand that. I told the receptionist that I could run some errands and come back in 30 minutes but she insisted that the stylist would be with me 'shortly' so I waited. An hour later, I'm still waiting. Ugh...
