Wost experience of my life! – I was staying at the hotel across the street for buisness. The dellaria salon was recomended by the front desk at the hotel. When I arrived there, it was a wednesday evening. I don't even remember the name of the hair dresser, I think she told me, but was so preoccupied gossiping about her boyfried and other things with her coworkers that the name never really stuck. She was a short girl with a pointy nose, looked rather sickly, she was clearly unstable and not right.the language used was very unprofessional.the place was extreemly unkept and did not appear to be sanitary by any means. Looking back I wish I didn't leave her a tip, especially after all her talk about going out that weekend, she probally used my money for god only knows. I told her to trim 2 inches off, she went with abut 4. When I got back to my home state I had to book an appoint at my own salon and pay top dollar to have the mess that little girl created fixed.
If I could give zero stars I would – I will never set foot in this place ever again. DELLARIA IN THE SSP IS THE WORST SALON EVER. My hairdresser of 5 years moved to another salon, & I was unable to make an appointment with her before the weekend (I am going away & wanted to have my hair done). A friend (or is she?) suggested Eric at Dellaria. I figured - what the heck. I've never had a problem with a hair before, & it might be a nice change. BIG MISTAKE. The reason why I've never had a problem was because I have always gone to the same hairdresser. I was given a lukewarm greeting, & then Eric comes out and pulls at my hair & asks me what I want to do. The salon itself was not very nice. There was hair all over the ground & I felt as though I were walking through some nasty salon the projects. He goes to mix my color & then does my partial foil in about 5 minutes. I KID YOU NOT. Then he throws me under the dryer, where white chunks of paint fall on top of me. He ushers me over to the sink to wash my hair, & the whole experience feels very unsanitary as he's splashing water all over me. Before he even turns on the faucet, the receptionist walks over to him & loudly says "Danielle's here." As in, HURRY UP. Excuse me, but I believe I am a paying client just like Danielle. He quickly washes my hair then cuts it in the most bizzare manner I have ever seen. He pulls at it & knifes at it like he's in a shrub pruning race. Then he says "Would you hate me if I didn't blowdry your hair, it's just, they overbooked me & I don't want to keep the other client waiting." EXCUSE ME, but what about me?! I am paying you the same amount, I am not in there for a free cut & I am DEFINITELY not a 2nd class citizen. I was so angry and giving him death glares through the mirror. I ask him how much time they alloted for me & he says they never give a lot of time. I leave there with an EXTREMELY uneven cut, wet hair & on the verge of tears. Not only do I have to go home & blowdry my own hair but I have to re-cut it. NEVER AGAIN.
