Thanks for nothing – Expensive, lackuster service-I have had freindlier service at McDonalds. The freid clams where overcooked as was the french fries. The hostess had no idea what was going on when we arrived, long wait and I never saw my server after they took my order, except for of course when they wanted me to pay up and vacate the table. Pass on this palce and eat elsewhere.

ALWAYS LEGAL – Always fresh! The crabcake is the best and the fish is cooked to order. I've been to about 8 of there restaurants and all of them are good. You can't ask for more from a chain. There isn't a better place to take ot of town guest for seafood.

Dear Chowder Heads! – This is the best seafood restaurant in the USA, per myself!

Reservations don't matter here – I made RESERVATIONS 5 days in advance for a party of 8 on Saturday night. When we got to the restaurant, the hostess told us she would let us know when our table was ready. We ended up waiting ONE HOUR to be seated! We spoke with the hostess and manager multiple times during our wait, and they never gave us a warning of how long the wait would be. They just said they were checking on our table and we would be seated shortly. At least they could have told us we would have a long wait so we could have walked around the mall or gone to a different restaurant. This was the absolutely worst service I have ever had at a restaurant in Boston. The manager gave us free appetizers when we finally got seated, but it did not make up for the horrible experience.

Go Early!! – We enjoyed a fabulous dinner here Friday night. Excellent service, the food was delicious and very reasonably priced. I would recommend going early or you will have to wait but it is worth it.

Tasteless Food at Premium Prices – This restaurant is highly overrated! We waited 1 hr to get in even after been told 20-25 minutes. It then took another hour to get our entrees. My grilled Cajun style salmon was the blandest meal ever. In fact the only seasoning was some watered down butter and parsley. The mashed potatoes were watery and laced with potato skins. I would have returned my meal if only our waitress would have properly checked on us at least once. My kids' fish and chips were another disappointment. None ate their meals. What a waste of money. There are by far much better restaurants in the Prudential center or Copley Plaza. The service is less than adequate. The waiters and waitresses take their customers for granted. Had they checked on us properly they could have spared us an awfull dining experience. I don't recommend this restaurant. There are better places to go.

The best Seafood chain ever? – Although this place is a chain, it lives up to its reputation. The food is delicious and the fact that it is a chain keeps the prices within reach, although it is not cheap. It is in the Prudential Center, but opens up to the mall, which I don't personally like, but you could easily sit somewhere else in the restaurant. If you want good seafood, this is a good, convenient option for a group, family, or date.

Good seafood – If you like seafood, you'll LOVE Legal's. I recommend the baked scrod. Absolutely fabulous. The service is always polite when I go. Recently, I noticed that they tried to turn tables over pretty quickly, but I explained to my server that I would be dining for awhile and that there was no need to rush. She was very polite and accommodated me appropriately.
