Anthony was a great waiter. He kept us entertained, and we look forward to coming to dinner, lunch, and breakfast.
Its fun when you are cheering for the same team as everyone else
bottom line, for sports fans, Jillians is a great place to be
The bouncers/waitresses/game techs/management... Whoop! Whoop! I wanna get back on the mic on Roll Down...Much Fun. When I come back to town I will swing by and say hello. From big Jake on the West Side............Whaaaaaat's AaaaaaaaaaAaaaAAaAaaaaaaa....!!!!!
a great experience is well worth sharing! The atmosphere was fun and lively and our server Erica was very accommodating. The good service guaranteed that my friends and I will be going back, and I would highly recommend it for anyone else!
They have a ton of TVs with sports on all of them, which is a plus! Next time I go to a game at Fenway, this is where I will pre-game again!
I went bowling at Lucky Strike last night and it was a blast!! The music was great and the bowling was fun, even though I'm pretty horrible at it! Our waitress was really friendly and right on top of getting our drink and food orders. I was impressed with the food too, I got the buffalo chicken bites and BBQ chicken pizza, they were both really yummy. All in all a really great experience. I will be going back soon with some friends!
Jillian's is right across the street from Fenway Park and it has everything a sports bar should have. Plenty of seats, sofas, a large bar, and huge t.v. sets. With a bowling alley and a roof top smoking lounge, Jillian's is kind of like the ultimate hang out spot. The 2nd floor had a dance club I didn't check out, but it adds to the list of things to do there. The appetizers were tasty
Jillian's is amazing. I'm quite fond of Kings, but Jillian's is just so big.
I went to Jillian's for my boyfriend's work party. They rented out the entire place, which I learned is very very large. The second floor there's ping pong, some arcade games, bowling, pool, and a bar. The Third floor is bowling alleys, giant tvs at the bar, a quieter area with another bar, wii and kinect, and we had some karaoke.
I absolutely hate bowling shoes, especially bowling shoes that aren't my own. I didn't score quite as high here as I usually do at Kings. But you know what it was still fun.
We had burgers and hot dogs. They were pretty much what'd you expect at a bowling alley. Nothing overly special. I'm sure their full menu is much better. I would love to come back, it seems like a fun place to go with friends. Overall, I'm excited to go back on a normal night and see how they are. My view is clearly skewed since it was a special event, but I'll give some updates when I go on a regular night.
I'm writing this review about a recent fundraiser that my organization held at Lucky Strike. I work for a local non-profit and we put on young professional networking nights every couple of months. Our most recent event was held at Lucky Strike and it was really fantastic!
Jillian's was gracious enough to work with us to keep the costs minimal as we don't have a large budget for these types of events. We were able to reserve 4 lanes of bowling and get free chips and salsa throughout our 2 hour event. We ordered a bunch of appetizers to feed our guests and only spent about $100, which was really affordable given how much food we bought.
We had a great server, Andrea, who was able to take on a party of about 50 people with ease! She was extremely friendly and so happy to help out at our fundraiser.
I would highly recommend other organizations in Boston contacting Lucky Strike for your next fundraiser!
I have run many charity events here, and have set up many teammates to have events here as I am on the board of the Dana Farber Marathon challenge. They are very generous with what is included (at no charge), and always do a great job. It is a top notch place to host an event .
