BEST PIZZA AND GREAT DINNERS – THE PIZZA IS THE BEST THE PERFECT COMBINATION OF SAUCE AND CHEESE ALWAYS COOKED PERFECTLY. THE SAUCE IS ZESTY AND FLAVORFUL. I ALSO RECOMEND THE STEAK TIPS, CHICKEN ZITI AND BROCCOLI IN A WHITE SAUCE AND CHICKEN PALM. I HAVE BEEN GOING THERE FOR TWENTY YEARS AND NEVER HAD A BAD MEAL.
Boston University undergrads and athletes make the short trek up the street for satisfying sandwiches and a mean slice of pizza. – The Scene
If Boston University's athletic department had an official caterer, T. Anthony's would be the obvious choice-and not just for its convenience (BU's athletic department is just down Babcock Street). Photos of BU stars from all sporting endeavors grace the walls. A shiny, high-tech jukebox sticks out among the diner-esque booths. Local laborers, from cops to construction workers, are the early-bird regulars, but the late-night crowd belongs to BU students noshing on brain food.
Eggs "any way you like 'em" are the breakfast specialty of the house, available all day. Lunch patrons favor an expanded menu of designer wraps like the Fenway, fittingly made of grilled Italian sausage, onions and peppers. Subs, from meatball to chicken salad, are reliable, but for the picky, customized club sandwiches are the way to go. Tasty thin-crust pizza arrives smothered in a slightly sweet tomato sauce and ample amounts of cheese.-
Yum! – The best Pizza in Boston...among other things. I also highly recommend the Chicken Parm, and Grilled Cheese!
still dream about this pizza – As a college student at BU, this was my all time favorite pizza. Taught this little midwestern gal to love NY-style pies. Now that I'm back in Ohio, I am endlessly searching for someone that comes close. Service is with old-school Boston attitude, but you can't beat the steaming slices! (the jukebox is also one of the most extensive-- if not necessarily eclectic) in town.
Phi Atta Pi – This is the best pizza in town. None other is even close.
