No where to run – This location is such a disappointment. The workout machine room still does not house enough machines to accommodate the number of members. Rates went up in December and I'm going to cancel my membership in a month because the location isn't worth the cost. The gym is primarily elderly people and the parking lot is consistently over run so you're forced to park at a nearby establishment's lot. How frustrating. I also hate the day care system. They run that portion of the Y like a cattle drive. Don't think for one second this day care is up to par with Kindercare or Bright Horizons. The day care lacks young and energetic staff. The majority of the teachers are overweight and appear burnt out. How can you chase after young ones if you're both tired and overwhelmed? The administration is both cold and far removed from the typical parent. There is far too much nepotism within these quarters. This is especially true in regards to placement and treatment of children by administration and staff. Even when the day care is dressed up to appear like a traditional classroom, do not believe it. This is not a school. It is a second rate day care. Your child will learn nothing but how to fingerprint and "keep your hands to yourself". I regret ever sending my children here. Do not make the same mistake.

A nationally recognized recreation and athletic center geared toward community improvement. – In Short
The first U.S. branch of the YMCA started in Boston in 1851; there are now more than 2,500 locations nationwide, making it the country's largest nonprofit community service program. Each YMCA reflects the community it's in, offering differing services based on the area. Most include fitness areas with aerobic equipment, classes and racquetball and tennis courts. Many also have day care and after-school programs, as well as summer day camps.
