My mom was bringing her dog here for a few weeks, mostly without issue. When she went to pick him up yesterday she noticed that he had been bathed, which they had NEVER done before. She asked the girl, Amanda, why she had bathed him to which she vaguely replied that she "was bored". When my mom got him home she noticed he had several large puncture wounds around his neck and he was bleeding, bleeding enough to drip onto the floor. She called the Canine College to find out what happened, after several unsuccessful attempts to get anyone on the phone, to which the girl said nothing happened. Understandably, dogs will get into a scuffle, the problem is that she denied having any knowledge about what happened, yet she bathed him...? If he was bleeding enough to drip onto the floor, you'd think she'd have noticed? Advertised as SUPERVISED doggie daycare, that's debatable. They wouldn't say which dog got into the fight with our dog, so he needed to be put on antibiotics and get a new rabies shot.

What a Place and so close to Boston – What a great place. While walking around Casle Island (going for a drag) w my 1 yr old Labordoodle another dog walker appraoched and said you need to go to Canine College to learn good behavior and manners. Thank goodness I did, after a few weeks of group class training sessions my dog has learnt to walk on leash, sit, down, leave it and stay with distrations. This has come in so handy in the city with so many dogs and bad things for them to get their nose into. Now I walk with out getting pulled and my dog approaches other dogs in friendly manner that has made it all worth the drive to Holbrook. Have use them a few times for daycare and an overnight and my dog loves interaction at day care and the fresh air. Thanks Canine College

Beware of this Facility! – As a vet tech in the area I have had a lot of experience with Canine College. Not only have we gotten calls from them due to having dogs escape while boarding but recently they released a dog to a friend and released the WRONG dog. This dog had spent 2 days outside and needed medical attention. Please research carefully prior to using this facility!

Not recommended – I had used Canine college twice before. Once for training/boarding and once for boarding. They taught my dog (commands) that he already knew so overall it was 80% a waste of money.

This yr, I sent my dog and our new puppy for boarding leaving VERY specific instructions. I went over them over the phone and on the day of drop-off.Our cousin picked them up from Canine College for us and when I went to pick them up I saw a huge scar on the back of my dog. I called the kennel regarding 1. the condition that my dog had come back in 2. overcharging me 3. not following my clear specific instructions 4. not returning my dogs with their belongings (bed mat, toys, food, etc)I finally talked to the manager there and he claimed that his employees had notified him right before I had called about the situation. I told the manager that no one had left a message for me on my phone that something had happened but to rest assure that my dog was fine. Basically no one even knew what exactly had happened and the manager clearly stated that it didn't concern him that his employees don't notify him of any situation like this. The mgr just assumed it happened during playtime and even suggested that my puppy (5lbs) did this to the bigger dog (25lbs) Ludicrous! This brings me to my other point that we specifically asked that they do not socialize our dogs with other dogs. If this instruction had been followed (rather ANY of the instructions), then this could have CLEARLY been avoided. Regardless to the fact that my dog is fine, he has scars all over his body. To be exact, he has a deep cut on his back that had healed with a 1 inch scab, about 5 scabs around his neck, and 3 around his body. They were all healed but quite disturbing.

He is running a business and he is poorly managing it. They obviously do not take responsibility for their mistakes and should not in good faith run their business this way.

I would NOT recommend this place for boarding.
