Baan Thai - Stay away. – We used to take out food from this place for 5 years and it was always consistently good. Last two times it was total crap. Pad thai tasted like it was cooked 2 days ago and warmed up. Curry souse totally lost it flavor.

"Baan thai sampler" was just a pile of fried dough for $13.95. I don't know if they changed a chef or under a new management but food became totally disgusting! It is last time I was getting any food from this place!

Great Thai food in Waltham – I came here with my boyfriend and his grandparents, as recommended by his brother who goes to Brandeis. It was really good food, although I can't speak much on the price since the g-parents paid for us. I had the crab rangoon which were so cute! They were like little pockets of crab and cream cheese instead of the long fried pastries I'm used to. The decor is also cute, the live fish were a nice touch!

Not very good – To start out, the fish in our Sushi came out still frozen, although the waiter did take it back and remove it from our bill.

My wife and I ordered the Rah Nah and the Pad Thai. The Rah Nah was decent, but the Pad Thai was really greasy and sweet. If a Thai restaurant can't pull off good Pad Thai, then it doesn't speak well for them.

The service was generally slow, but it wasn't the waiter's fault since he was the only one and he had quite a few tables to take care of.

Worst Thai place I've ever been to! – Awful service, which makes for a bad experience. Also Baan Thai just does not compare to many other Thai places I've been to. Who has Sushi at a Thai place? They only had one waiter and probably only one cook-the appetizers took 20 minutes to arrive! I ordered a noodle dish which is generally supposed to be spicy but turned out to be sweet. I would rather travel out of my way to go for Thai food than go to this place, which is closer.

Yummy little place! – I placed an order for takeout on a Monday afternoon and ordered the chicken yellow curry special and Tom Ka soup (coconut w/chicken). My order was completed quickly, accurately and all in a secure plastic takeout container with no leaks. The chicken soup was delicious, generously sized and full of chicken. The curry was a mildly spicy and also excellent and full of chicken and veggies - NO SKIMPING HERE. They also separated the chicken curry from the rice, a nice touch. There were two steamed dumplings (a bit bland) and one spring roll (nice and crunchy) too. I can't wait to try this place for dinner.
