Love this place! My husband and I went through Metropolitan for our new kitchen and I really can't say enough about our experience. We came into the showroom with a vague idea of what we were looking for and (as new homeowners) we were definitely in need of some professional guidance. We were on a budget with close to no clue about the remodeling process and were not sure where to start. Luckily, the extremely patient and knowledgeable team at Metropolitan took their time with us and explained all of the options and possible configurations for the space. In the end we ended up with a gorgeous kitchen within our budget. What could have been a very stressful process ended up being a fun and exciting project. We are now thinking about remodeling our upstairs bathroom and there is no way we will go anywhere else!
Most Unprofessional Service Ever. – As a contractor in business over 20 years and doing over 15 kitchen per year. Metropolitan has the worst customer service I have ever seen. They don't stand behind the mistakes that they make. Try talking to management and you won't even get a response. I will never deal with them or recomend them to anyone. In fact my first recomendation to anyone will be "don't use Metropolitan".

I am puzzaled – I was reffered by a friend that is in the plumbing business.Then asked a few others and they all recomended the place.
I went with my wife and looked at some cabinets.I provided a rough sketch of the kitchen and left the pace with the impression that the Metropolitan Cabinets will call me to go over the design of my kitchen. NEVER called me back.
Believe it or not I found exceptional service and pricing at Home Depot West Roxbury. I will use their installers also. The only thing Home Depot could not help me with was the appliances. I am getting those from a local shop or the internet.
I am just as puzzled as you as to how this could happen. Certainly was not on purpose, and I gurantee you that customer service IS in fact our top priority. To see us lose business over thefact that we were not able to follow-up with a potential customer is certainly troubling. If you could e-mail me the specifics of what happened it would be greatly appreciated.

Beautiful showrooms, great selection, competitive pricing, knowledgeable and courteous staff – As an interior designer, this is a great resource for me without going into the Design Center in Boston. Easy to get to and plenty of options for my clients nicely displayed in their showrooms. On site manufacturing of custom granite countertops in their Canton area facility.
I have worked with them over the past few years with clients as well as for my own personal use. Courteous, knowlegeable, responsive and professional. Highly recommended!

highly recommended – I recently bought a set of cabinets and countertops from Metropolitan Cabinets in Norwood. I chose the "Royal" cabinet line, they manufacture them at the Norwood location. The quality was great and the price was comparable to any of the other cabinet types I saw at other kitchen designers. My designer told me that choosing the product they manufactured would ensure that Metropolitan would have total control of the delivery time and a lower price, and they were right. For countertops, I chose the verde butterfly granite. The countertops were installed on time and at a very competitive price. I would recommend Metropolitan to anyone who is looking for quality products at a fair price.
Beware Horrendous Service – Went to Metropolitan Cabinets on the recommendation of a couple of contractor friends. Having dealt with them I cannot believe they stay in business. I tried to order 2 cabinets for an existing kitchen. They told me it would take about 2 months. I called them 2 months later and they never ordered the cabinets! Talked to the sales manager, he wasn't much help. It took him 2 weeks looking around for the paperwork just to tell me the cabinets were definitely not ordered. Talked to the owner figuring he might care about $2,000 in cabinets and probably $5,000 - $7,000 in granite counter tops. Boy was I ever wrong. He could have cared less then the sales manager. Granted I was not spending 50k - 100k in cabinets but I am going to redo this kitchen in about 3-5 years and will spend that much.
The true test for any company is how they handle a customer service issue. Lots of companies make mistakes and most of them at least try to correct the situation. When the owner isn't interested in helping a customer with a mistake the company made then run, don't walk, to the competition.
If you are remotely thinking of buying cabinets from Metropolitan please reconsider your purchase. There are many companies that sell cabinets in the greater Boston area and you will thank me when your kitchen is pulled apart and the contractor tells you Metropolitan messed up the order.
I am shocked that you had such a terrible experience with us and apologize for the poor service. I cannot believe this would happen and it is indeed very troubling. I must say however, that this is certainly an isolated event, we strive to make customer satisfaction our top priority and to hear that we failed is something we take very seriously.
very good overall – exceptional customer care. If you want a a custom or semi- custom kitchen/ bathroom this is the place to go! Great selection of countertop materials ( granite, corian, zodiaq, caesarstone, laminate and marble... also some cultured stones available) cabinet selection is also widely varied. highly recommended.
designers are very good at what they do.
be aware. you need a contractor- this is whole sale place.
