Horrible service and food, don't waste your money! – My husband and I went to Gringo's on a Sunday afternoon. We sat outside. We had to wait ages for everything. We waited for menus, we waited for our drinks, we waited for food for long periods of time and wondering "Where is our food?". I paid $2.75 for a can of soda. A can of soda I could have walked across the street for. The prices for non-alcoholic beverages is not listed on their menu. The food was horrible, so bad that I felt like walking out and should have.
great food at inexpensive prices – Atmosphere is wonderful. We really enjoyed dining outside watching the steet scape on Main street. The menu had many low cost items of Mexican fare and fresh local seafood. The lobster dinner was reasonably priced and many items were $10-12. Family friendly restaurant with many kid items on the menu. Recommend Gringos highly. Don't miss out on this place on your trip to Cape Cod.
STAY AWAY! – The service was AWFUL, second only to the food. The food was repulsive - not edible. There was brown lettece in the bottom of our "guacalmole" dip. The fajitas, which arrived 20 min after the other dishes, were limp and tasteless. The pizza was undercooked and soggy and looked like it was crafted by a five year old. The burrito forced its consumer to the rest room for the duration of the night. I understand that bad food happens to nice restaurants. When we reported the issue to the manager he informed us that there was nothing he could do and then proceeded to laugh in merriment with waitstaff - averting his eyes as we walked out. The entire experience (costing more than 85 dollars) left a very bad taste in my mouth (pun intended). Needless to say - i would only send my worst enemy to this restaurant.
great people watching spot – Outdoor patio with indoor dining and deck up top. Great spot to watch people shopping on Main St. Small parking lot in rear, large lot across street. Great drinks, margaritas, over 40 tequilas to choose from. Dos Equis on tap. Decent food at very fair prices. Typically American and Mexican dishes. Burgers and nachos, etc. Family friendly or romantic enough for a light date.
