I would ignore the negative review from 2009 below. Curt has repaired two appliances for us over the past few years--our oven and recently our washing machine. I called him on a Friday night and his voice mail mentioned that his earliest appointment was Monday or Tuesday. I left my number and he called me back Saturday (the next day). He came over on Tuesday morning, took the machine apart, found the problem, and quickly fixed it, all for a very fair price. It is a rental property so reliability of a repair person and ease of interaction is key. He is just a great resource and is my go-to guy for repairs like this, so I echo the sentiments of the other pos reviews.
Curt has serviced our five appliances for over 25 years and has always responded immediately to phone calls, arrived swiftly and performed the necessary work quickly and perfectly. He charges a fair rate and always explains what the appliance requires to get running properly again. He never sells you anything you do not need. He stands out among al the local tradespeople for his responsiveness, courtesy and top quality work.
Excellent Service and Promptness! – I would like to add a review for Curt's Appliance Service as one other person gave a very negative review of this service and said he did not return phone calls. I had a very positive experience with Curt as he called me back and came the same day to repair a dryer in a rental home we own as our tenants were very anxious to have a dryer as they had wet laundry to dry. I was very pleased with his repair and his responsiveness. He also called me and told me he had replaced a belt as well as a pulley and wanted my OK with the small increase on the bill. His charges were very fair and I would give him an A+ rating both for his charges and his responsiveness. He could not have served us better! Thank you, Curt!
You will wait, wait, wait for this guy – The appliance repair business must be great because Curt doesn't have a nano-second to return phone calls. I called this guy twice -- on two different days -- but he didn't have the courtesy -- or business sense to return my calls.
If he's non-responsive before he has your business, he'll be the same when he gets the job.
Too bad this guy can't pick up the phone and return a call. He needs a lesson in manners -- as well as a lesson in business.
Not only did he lose my business -- he lost the business of everyone I know.
Good job Curt --- way to run a business!!!!
