Stinky stinky dog! – Will definitely not recommend the pets hotel to anyone! Managers very insensitive and condescending. Left our puppy for 6 days and when we picked him up he smelled like feces and urine. They forgot that he has an appointment at the grooming place! After raising hell and complaining, they rushed our dog to get a quick bath and attempted to fix the problem. I must say that after the bath he smelled decent. My question is, if he smelled like urine and feces and his hair was matted from being wet, was my poor dog laying on his own mess for 6 days? The manager assured me that they clean the cages/rooms wherever they sleep twice a day so how in the world did he get so filthy???? After speaking to the manager, I got more irate and pissed off since he keeps asking me "what is it that you want" like i was going to ask to get a refund or something..im not asking for a refund, all im asking is for some compassion and maybe some better service in the future for others since the services here are so expensive. Mr. manager you need to be more compassionate and maybe you need to supervise your staff better. If youre a pet lover then you will understand where im coming from.

Stay away from pet grooming! – This review is concerning the grooming staff at petsmart in Columbia. They are the most disorganized business I have ever encountered. We took our cat there to get groomed about two years ago and provided all of the necessary documentation, i.e. proof of the rabies vaccination. We provided this documentation and it is good for three years.
I took him back about a year ago and they told me that they did not have the rabies information even though we had given it to them the year before. He got his shot in Philadelphia and I didn't know the vet name off of the top of my head for them to call and confirm that he had the shot. So they made me leave.
About two hours after I left, the woman, who by the way barely speaks English, called me back to let me know they did in fact have the rabies vaccination information in their system. At that point it was too late for me to take him back.
I just took him in again today and I have a broken arm right now, so knowing what happened the last time, I had the vet fax the information to them last night. It is difficult enough to carry my 16 pound cat plus crate with one arm, so I wasn't taking any chances. I called and confirmed that they received the fax, and that everything was good to go for this morning and they said it was. Of course, when I came in this morning they claim they never received the fax and basically called me a liar because they didn't have the fax. It is infuriating that they are so disorganized at this place. So luckily I had the vet number with me and luckily they were actually open early in the morning. We had to call them and confirm the rabies vaccination.
I will never take any animals to this location again. They are disorganized, it is difficult to understand the main woman, and she was just ready to send me home again today. This is no way to run a business!
