We went for a birthday dinner. – This was our first trip. There were 7 people in our party.

The atmosphere is nice. It's a little dark but it wasn't a loud crowd and you definitely don't feel alone. We made reservations and we were seated immediately by the hostess that had some nice breast and wanted to let the world have a good look at just how nice they were. She was hard to miss walking by each time.

Our waiter was good, though he definitely wasn't trying to kil anyone with kindness, but he did his job well and was never rude.

Food. The opinion at the table went from very good to ok. The ok's came from the two that got the black pepper steak. They complained of too much black pepper being the problem. One person got the Filet Mignon and that looked awesome. It was covered in tomato and onion. he loved it and I would have gladly gotten that as well.

The other 4 got pasta. 2 ordred the Crab and Linguini. The noodle was good, good amount of sause and very good amount of crab meat. The only problem was it lacked seasoning. Just not a lot of flavor to go with the crab and noodle. The right spice and this would have been to die for.

Another person got another linguini dish, not in tomotato sauce but some kind of vodka like sauce. It was very , very good. The last person doen't count. An 81 year old woman that got a shrimp scampi without the linguini. She liked what she got though.

The wine averaged about $45 a bottle. We got one, Luna di Luna. Very good wine to go with our linguin and steak. Though I was the only real wine drinker at the table.

Skip desert. None are that great. Not bad, just not worth getting.

The place also had a bar that we didn't go into but looked rather nice and upbeat. Looked like they had a DJ in the bar that night.

A lot of elderly people at the place. You won't find kids runnning around. The dress went from people in suits to mostly those in slacks and button down shirts to people in jeans and a nice shirt..

Total price for the night, $256 +60 tip.

Fine Dining Prices without the Backup – Too expensive for what you see/get/taste. Need to establish yourself before charging fine dining prices. Servers need quite a bit of help with wine service and procedure. Bar area very close to the dining room, much too noisy and smokey for a pleasant dining experience.

Horrible service at the Perry Hall location!!!! – We had a large group of 16+ people and our service (by the owner and manager) was nothing short of awful. My husband's wine was served in a lipstick smudged glass and when he requested a new one, they poured him half a glass of wine which appeared to be from the soiled glass. My food was cold. When asked by the owner about our food and service, we let him know. He was very arrogant and asked me why I didn't just have the food reheated. He then challenged me about seeing the bartender pour the wine into the clean glass. I have never been treated so rudely at a restaurant and I will never be back. After all of the poor service (we brought 14+ of our friends to this restaurant) they didn't even take one thing (including the dirty wine) off the bill. They didn't even give an apology. The manager walked away from me in the middle of my conversation with him to go break up a fight in the bar (turns out it was one of HIS friends). He never returned or apologized. I thought maybe it was just an unfortunate incident, but as we walked outside two other groups were talking about the poor service they received and I have heard the same from other people since. It seems the owner we dealt with is very arrogant and thinks he can have a successful business based on turning a cheek to the mistakes made. This may be true, but I know that we will not be back. The owner has continously called me threatening legal action for this poor review. Unbelievable!

WONDERFUL – This restaurant can be a bit expensive but is worth EVERY DIME. The food is consistently delicious, generous portions and friendly, unstuffy service reign supreme in the lil slice of Italy.

Excellent!!! – My wife and I love this place. The crab tower is perfect adn the meals are more then plentiful. We find it to be a bit on teh pricy side, but well worth it.
