Located smack in the middle of Oriole territory, this clean, breezy former bank hosts live music ranging from bratty punk to wily jam band guitar. Most nights feature five or more bands per bill--a fair amount of ear bashing for the reasonable cover charge. The raised stage means there's a good view, and the sound system isn't too shabby either.





The Booze


Unusually, beers are organized by social class: "Brews for the People" (Bud, Coors); "Bourgeoisie Brews" (Michelob, Corona); "Highbrow Brews" (Magic Hat, Killians, Bass); and "Pints for the Pompous" (Guinness). Sure, you may be defined by your drink, but if you like beer, that's essentially your only choice. Tired of class warfare? Try your hand at a stiff, reasonably priced mixed drink.
