Steak Lovers This is the PLACE FOR YOU! – Everyone who likes steak and a great deal, this is the place to go! The specials through the week are good as well! On Thurs. it is STEAK NIGHT, 40 OZ. of Prime Rib, T-Bone or Porterhouse... with 2 sides (of course). Some Thurs. it can get pretty busy so try and have patience, the longest I have waited is 30 mins. It is DEF worth the wait though. Service is not too bad neither! I have taken several out of towners as well as family that has came from as far away as Africa & London and they all have LOVED it!
Quality food, great prices – $17.95 for a 40 oz bone in prime rib with 2 sides. Not much more to say. Lobster and crabcakes are great too.
great great great food – Best crabcakes I've had in a restaurant EVER. Our waitress was very friendly. My husband and i both got steak, it was ok but underseasoned. We would defintely go back.
Neighborhood prices - quality food – One of my favorite steakhouses on the East Coast. Quality cuts, get there early on nights when steaks are on special as they are known to run out of prime rib on occasion. Tommy, who usually works as host, is great to talk sports with, and the service is straight out of blue-collar Baltimore. You get plenty of food, as the sides can take up as much space in your tummy as the prime rib.
An excellent night out and one of my favorite places to get a steak in Baltimore.
Terrible Customer Service – My husband and I had a terrible experience at Michael's. Not once, not twice, but three times! We went back three times because the specials (Thursday night 40 oz prime rib!?) sound like a great deal and we wanted to try them. Each time they were sold out of the prime rib by the time we sat down - even after we'd checked with "management" to assure they'd have prime rib for us. We are not picky people and we are pretty reasonable - their hostess/manager is terrible. (She must be related to the owner!) The place is not fancy or clean - I agree with some of the other reviewers - but we were willing to overlook that. I will never go back there, and I will tell anyone that will listen to me about my experiences there. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY.
they serve cake with mold – They served a cake that was filled with mold. We ate almost the whole thing before we realized it. We are color blind and didn't notice it. The manager only took off the price of the cake and 2 ice tea.
Editorial Review by Christy Buena – Serving juicy New York strip steaks and fresh seafood, this restaurant also features a large selection of cheese cakes.
Big Steaks!!!! – If you like steaks this is the place for you. The steaks are big and they are good. Get here early it does get crowded and kind of small inside. Definately worth your time.
This place is freakin great.... – $18 for a 40oz piece of Prime Rib- are you kidding me? You get the same steak for $35 at FLemings or Ruth's Chris. Steaks and crabcakes are the best around. I think I got a decent bottle of Cabernet for $28 as well.
Excellent specials! – The food and appetizers are great. The food portions are large. The only negative I have to say is that the drinks such as beer and wine are over priced.
I enjoy dining there.
