Not worth it – On April 17, 2010, I made a 7pm reservation for 12 people at Fin's Restaurant. I arrived about 10 min late with 2 other members of my party. But at least 3 members of my party were already there waiting to be seated. The hostess rudely told them that we could not be seated until all of the members arrived. When I arrived, I was told by this same hostess that I lost my reservation because I was so late but could wait for a table of 12. I was ok with that until she refused to seat the 6 of us while 3 others were finding parking (I was on my cell phone with each of them and letting her know they were outside). They sat the 9 of us at a table of 8 even though we asked for 12. We sat anyway, just because we had been waiting for so long and we wanted to honor our end of the reservation. The waitress was very rude to my guests. One of them ordered an drink and asked the waitress 30 min after ordering where her drink was. She rudely asked, "What did you order?" to which my guest replied, "never mind, I will just take water." The waitress said, "No, WHAT DID YOU ORDER?" We then asked to speak to a manager and the owner came over and said, "Well, I am the owner and you can't go over me so what is the problem?" When I started to explain, he interrupted me, yelling " YOUR RESERVATION WAS FOR 7:00 AND YOU WERE AN HOUR LATE!" I tried to explain that I understand if the reservation was cancelled BUT we still had 12 people ready to spend money. He continued to yell "YOU CANNOT PUT ALL OF THESE CHAIRS AT THIS TABLE." I reminded him that we asked for a seating of 12, he yelled again "YOU WERE AN HOUR LATE!"At that point, with FULL plates of food, my party decided to leave. The bill was brought over and he stood over our table as we gathered the money. We asked him to excuse himself, and my guest told him what a bad experience we had for MY birthday and the money he would lose as a result. He yelled her "I HAVE PEOPLE WAITING IN LINE TO EAT!" (there was no line) All in all I think his handling was very poor and my birthday dinner was ruined. My guests were appalled and left in disgust. This is an establish we frequent often and WE WILL NEVER RETURN as a result. I cannot believe that anyone is able to treat people this way and continue to do business.
