Delicious Home Cooked Meals, Worth The Trip! – Union Bridge is a very small little town, and the town's best place of business is by far The Buttersburg Inn. We have been customers of theirs for many years, so I thought it's about time I write a review.
The dining rooms are cozy and comfortable. There is a back room that you can rent out if needed for a large party...which we have done on several occasions.
The owners, Frank and Jim, are wonderful. No matter how busy the restaurant is, one of them will always be visiting the patrons asking about the food they ordered, answering questions, and just being friendly. Frank is a fantastic chef, and Jim is an incredible baker...he is responsible for the desserts. His Jewish Apple Cake is so delicious.
When we want a meal that tastes home cooked, this is were we go. My husband's favorite is the crabcake sandwich, and my guilty pleasure meal is the fried chicken. There is always a daily special menu, and the soups are delicious. We recommend the cream of crab soup!
The prices are very reasonable. My favorite meal is less than 8.00! And that's a lot of food. You must save room for the dessert menu. The waiters there have always been polite and attentive, no matter how packed the restaurant may be.
This gem of a restaurant is worth the trip, and we highly recommend it to everyone!
