The room was large and well stocked with everything down to plates and silverware. The balcony gave us a wonderful view of the ocean. The staff was helpful and very friendly and efficient, without being syrupy. Even the parrots were good hosts. The fish pond has the largest goldfish I have ever seen.
Had family and friends (32 of us) gather for a long weekend at this hotel. They are very very accommodating and the staff (Jim at front desk) and Kate/Kevin at Tiki Bar are GOOD people. The kids love the indoor pool and we all are entertained by the parrots. It was cold outside but the atmosphere is warm and inviting. Will be there again next year.
This summer was our 3rd time staying at the Quality Inn Oceanfront & its location on 54th Street & Coastal Highway is perfect for all our needs. The balcony rooms are awesome & sitting out on the balcony with the ocean views - sunrises & sunsets are breathtaking. Their beachfront is perfect too. The complimentary coffee & fresh fruit every morning really makes our stay a great way to start each day. The tropical birds in the atrium area really add to the vacation ambiance & are fun to talk to. The Atrium Bar & Grill in the same location is a great place for a great tropical frozen drink, a cold one or a quick bite to eat. All in all, the Hotel & Beach staff is right there for your needs & a great group of people to deal with. We can't say enough about the place & well worth the week's stay there.
This summer was our first time staying at Quality Inn Oceanfront & its location was perfect for us. We had an ocean view which was wonderful. The complimentary coffee was wonderful for my husband as he loves his coffee and fresh fruit was a nice treat each morning. The tropical birds were a truly real pleasure to see and talk too. My children enjoyed them so much and also the sweet lady who did crafts with them each day we were there. I surely will go back as my family really liked staying there. I am so glad we tried this location as it was recommended to us. The children also enjoyed the play area too. The staff was very pleasant and helpful since it was our first time there. I would recommend this location to all my friends.
My daughter and I got a 4th floor oceanfront balcony suite. It was clean, bright, and with a great view. We ate a dinner in the Atrium Cafe with a 10% off coupon we received at check-in. The food was basic but excellent - the green bean fries are great! The salad with chicken was fresh and tasty. My daughter's burger was just right. The bartender was friendly and knowledgeable, as was the lady next to us who had just finished her shift. They had great stories about the history of the hotel, very interesting to hear. The atrium in itself is fun; there's a little bridge over a pond filled with koi and turtles, and there are all kinds of colorful parrots. The atrium pool is heated and has 2 hot tubs, which was great for relaxing. If you didn't want to leave the hotel during a weekend getaway, you didn't need to; everything was right there. I woke up for the 6:30 am sunrise and sat on the balcony and watched a pod of dolphins leap and swim as the sun rose. The front desk was friendly and welcoming. It was a great place for a fall getaway, inexpensive compared to summer, and we plan to return soon.
We had a wonderful quiet vacation on the Oceanside. Our room had a mini kitchen including dishwasher. Free laundry included. The hotel is showing its age (aren't we all) and could use some updating, but it would then not be the bargain it is. October certainly was the time for a much reduced rate. Loved our little balcony with a million dollar view. Quaint lobby with many feathered friends. Night staff was very helpful and gave s great restaurant recommendations. Since many attractions/shops were closed for the season, we needed their help. This hotel provided a great location for walking the shore @ 55th Street. Would go back.
Tanya and Lara at the front desk were absolutely amazing. We had a problem with check in ( completely my fault) and Tanya was right on the phone to fix my mistake. Both she and Lara went out of their way to be helpful and friendly. What could have been a minor disaster, turned out great thanks to these lovely ladies and I can't thank them enough!
A wonderful weekend get away! Great Venue on the beach, with a tropical bird atrium. Nice cafe as well. Warm indoor pool and 2 hot tubs. (One is usually hotter than the other). Staff always friendly and helpful! Fast check In/Out. Planning another visit soon!
I made it a point to get to the Atlantic in time for the 100th Anniversary of the Titanic's sinking, April 15, 2012. The Quality Inn Oceanfront offered a great location with a hot breakfast, clean and comfortable rooms, with kitchenettes, and balconies for all rooms. One addition that sold me was their student discount rates for members of Student Advantage. Being a member, I originally booked a lesser expense (smaller room), and since the Titanic Centennial was in April, there were plenty of unsold rooms and I received a FREE upgrade to a double room indoor balcony suite. I will return most definitely.
Stayed here July 21-26 It was a very nice time. The staff we had not a problem with. If we needed anything such as more towels they were very firendly and accomidating. The room for sure could have used some minor updating but it was in no way filthy. The pools and hot tubs were cleaned daily, as early risers witnessed it. By days end they were full of sand, but thats a beach front hotel for you. We ourselves would go directly from the ocean to the hot tubs. I would sugest eating breakast at the The Atrium cafe as it was the most affordable breakast we encountered all week. We tryed different places every day, found some really good breakfasts, but way overpriced for breakfast. The Atriums cafe breakfast was resonably priced and I would consider the food average family diner breakfast. Enjoyed have the full kithenette we made our own lunches daily, which is helpfull too. Liked having a full refridgerator was able to stock up on lots of water and gatorade and such. The birds they were cool!! Yes some mornings they were noisy but we are early risers anyhow, so thtat was not a bother to us. Like having 24/7 free coffee as well :) The fresh fruit on the front desk/lobby was a nice touch grabbed something from the basket daily. Yes the elevator was slow, but on vacation ...no hurries....enjoy life. Our balcony was very enjoyable, there is a fox who lives in the dune infront of the hotel he was very entertaining every evening.
