Kids running the store providing horrible service! – Unfortunately I fill a lot of prescriptions. The upside of this is that for every one I fill I am to receive a kick-back in the form of a coupon. The downside is that the expiration dates are so short. Recently I was in picking up a prescription and shopping for stocking stuffers. While I am acutely aware that CVS is considerably more expensive than Walmart it is more convenient. I placed my considerable purchases on the counter and watched the register reach over $200. I handed my CVS coupons to the cashier only to be told that one of them had expired. I felt a bit silly and took it back only to notice I was off by 1 day! It was for over $23 so I asked if they would cut me some slack and the kid promptly said no, that is against policy!

I asked for the manager and another young kid came up to me so I explained the situation. He looked at the CVS coupon and then at me and said, "No I won't do anything about this it is expired, you should have come in yesterday." I looked at him and asked him if he realized the connection between such a large coupon and my spending habits at his store, and he said he really didn?t care. I was so shocked I could barely speak.

I left my items on the counter, and moved my prescriptions to their competitor across the street!

For more than 40 years, this drugstore chain has served communities nationwide with a variety of home, health and beauty products. – In Short
First opened in 1963 in Lowell, Mass., under the name Consumer Value Stores, this drugstore chain is among the largest in the country. Stores carry a variety of products, from baby supplies, home health equipment and vitamins to toys and greeting cards. Most locations offer Healthy Skin Care Centers, located near the pharmacy, which emphasize beauty as a health issue, and employ a skin care technician to educate customers about European and dermatologist-backed brands like Vichy.
