this flower shop ruined my moment. When I said I was going to list it on the website, they didn't care.
Is it fair that an employee would personally sign a card inside WITH THEIR NAME?The card on the flowers read " From ME". The flowers appeared to be sent anonymously. Until I read the inside of the card which stated "... water the flowers everyday and they will open, Aida"
Has this ever happened to you? I am so hurt and overwhelmed Darling's flowers did. She took what could have been a beautiful thought, and made me believe the flowers were from a person named "Aida". Her signature never indicated that she was an employee.
I spoke with Aida. I expressed how hurt I was. She blamed me for not calling to verify who sent them. The only excuse was that she had signed the card for over 30 years and that I should have know that it was signed by the flower shop. REALLY? REALLY? who would call to verify who sent them when the card was signed?
So what she is saying is all "my old customer's know my routine, all my new customer's should know better." Her response was cold. It felt as thought it was all about the money, not about the beautiful thought she ruined. The flowers we put to the side because they were from an unknown person. The worst part was that when the flowers arrived, I thought they werw from HIM. Then I read the card inside, and the flower's just didn't seem important anymore.
So HE called the flower shop and complained as well. Aida's response was pretty much that if I didn't know who send them, it was my fault because I should have know who sent them. HE asked for cost of flower's to be reimbursed or resent to correct the issue. Obviously, keeping new customer's happy isn't Aida's mission. It was clearly a misunderstanding. But at whose's expense?
So once again, for the old customer's the flowers are pretty, no complaints their, but had you not known her routine, and this happened to you, who would you feel is responsible, the new customer who wanted toe make his girl smile on their spcial day, never ever have bought her flowers before, or the store owner who could have taken a little bit of responsiblity realizing that maybe, just maybe, she made a mistake by siging an anonymous card with her employee's name?
Unhappy Customer – I wanted to share an unpleasant ordering experience I had with this florist. I ordered the flowers on a Friday and asked for them to be delivered on the following Monday. The ordering process went very well and the woman who took my order was pleasant. I had called my friend around 3PM on that Monday to find out if anything had arrived and once I found out the order was not yet delivered I called the florist to find out when the order would be delivered. They indicated that the driver was still out and that he would call me back. I never heard back from the florist, my friend left for the day and the flowers arrived sometime after 4PM. I emailed the florist asking for an explanation of why it was delivered after hours and I never received a return call back or a response to my email. On a separate note, I paid a lot of money for this arrangement and was not real pleased with the size of the arrangement compared to how much I paid for the flowers. Needless to say, this florist had a chance to turn my experience around but failed to contact me. I will not be using this florist again.
