Not sure yet..... So far I'm not impressed, I ordered my dress 5 months ago and I was told it would take 4-5 months. I've called a few times to make sure everything is okay with the order because I've heard nothing and they act annoyed. I'm hoping things turn around because I'm thinking about taking my dress to someone else for alterations.

EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE!!!. As someone who has high expections, we can only praise the staff of Bridal Couture. From the moment we entered the shop we received nothing but the most patient, helpful and attentive service from the employees. Thank you Carol for such wonderful service, and to the manager Amy we so appreciate all the time and effort you put into all the extra details that help to make a wedding day so very special. Your great selection made it easy to find the dream dress, and our drive from Ontario, Canada was well worth the 3 hours! You made it a wonderful experience, that we will remember for a lifetime. We'll be passing out your cards to our friends as service like we experienced sadly isn't that common anymore.

We hope you'll consider opening another Bridal Couture closer to the border! Jane and Sylvia

BRIDES TO BE, DON'T SPEND YOUR MONEY THERE!!!!!. Let me preface this by first saying that my dress, my bridesmaid dresses, my moms dress and my flower girl dress ALL came from Bridal Couture. Everything was fine until it came to getting my alterations done.

The lady who was supposed to do the alterations on my dress didn't do ANY of the stuff she was supposed to do to the top of my dress. I asked the seamstress if she could take it out a little at the bust because it was too tight but she told me no. She said that because of the detail in my dress it wasnt possible. I trusted that she would make sure that my dress fit fine for my day since I know nothing about alterations on a wedding dress. Second, when my dress was bustled about a foot of material still was dragging on the ground. When I went to pick up my dress the day before my wedding is when I found all of this out. I rushed my dress to a new lady to have it fixed since the original lady had since retired...how convient. The new seamstress that I found said that the other lady could have taken my dress out like I asked, but she just didn't want to because it can be a big job. I COULDN'T believe it!!!! The new lady was able to fix the top as best she could given it was the day before my wedding.

The day of my wedding my bustle broke right when I got to my reception because the origanl lady only sewed ribbons into my dress to hold it up. It should have had buttons due to the weight of my dress, and should not have dragged on the ground! As a result of my bustle breaking we had to use safety pins to keep my dress up so I missed some of my reception trying to fix it and now my dress has rips in it from the safety pins.

Needless to say, I had to pay an extra $130 for the last minute alterations (which should have been done the first time) the day before my wedding when I had no time to have to deal with this. Not to mention my dress is now ripped. Between me and my whole bridal party we spent about $2600 dollars in that bridal store and they are only willing to give me $20 back and didn't even offer to fix my dress!!!! Customer service my ass!!!!!

Stellar sales staff. I had gone to three previous bridal salons before reluctantly going to Julie's (because of what I've read/heard about them) and to my surprise, the entire experience was pleasant and easy. I had already narrowed down what I was looking for, gave Carol G. my price range and she went to town. We pulled from the floor, she picked dresses from the back and five out of the six dresses I tried on were great! There wasn't any pressure and she was very nice about letting me try on my favorites a couple more times. I was impressed on how quickly she understood what I was looking for and was able to pull different variations and explain the differences to me. I was able to meet the new owner Amy as well and she was very nice to me. I ended up going back four days later and buying my dress!

Great experience. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Knew me by name and catered to my every request. I worked with Amy (the owner) and another womans whose name escapes me right now.

Nice People, Fun Time. I went to Bridal Couture on Saturday. Wow, it was busy! I didn't have an appointment. Even though they were busy, they said they would help me.

Anyway, there were several other brides there while I was. We were all looking at dresses and had so much fun talking to each other about the dresses we liked on each other. My sales person was really nice. At one point she had to answer a quick question for someone and another person stepped in immediately to help me for the couple minutes. They just really catered to me.

The owner stopped by a couple times to check and make sure I was doing okay and that I was happy with the experience and who was helping me.

I found my dress too! I'm so excited!!!!! I've been searching at about 8 stores and was so glad to finally find what I loved with a salon that I enjoyed. They were fun!

if ur getting married and happy dont come here. I walked into julies bridal despite all the bad reviews from friends. I heard there was a new owner and she was wonderful. What new owner? Where was she? in the back room never came out! Dealt with a sales lady who was rude. she wasnt helpful looked around and saw the dress i loved she told me she had more dresses in the back, but if i told her the style she would get it. We couldn't go look at them. So i did just that! surprise she had nothing like the dress i wanted just the one out there. Fine i asked her to try it on she never came back until i had already put it on, looked at it , and gotten dressed by myself. I asked for an estimated they wouldn't do that without a deposit. How can i make a deposit without knowing the price?! All she was doing is telling me about the extras. never got an apology for the treatment, Amy never came out to see what was wrong and the sales lady went back and forth talking to her. i waited for fifteen minutes and nothing. I said thank u and walked out. Wow what a huge mistake! Someone walks in without a budget and u are rude to them. Their loss!!! Need less to say I found the same dress at a place where the women truly are wonderful Marias Bridal in Rochester. Brides if u want to be treated with respect dont go to julies!!!! my bridal party and I were truly dissappointed and in aww at the service. Julie' bridal UR A BRIDAL SHOP UR SUPPOSED TO MAKE BRIDES FEEL SPECIAL AND HAPPY NOT SAD AND DISCOURAGED TAKE A CLASS IN NICENESS 101!!!!!!

The worst experience of my life. Do NOT shop here & do NOT have alterations done here. At first the new owner, Amy, was very helpful. But then after I ordered my special order Kate Bennett dress I found that the ladies lied to me every time I came into the store. My alterations were NOT complete. My chest was hanging out, there were creases still in my dress, the hem was way too long, the bustle was done incorrectly, the designer (Kate Bennett) did not want to do what I originally wanted for my dress & the owner of the store did not stick up for me. This was suppose to be a design like no one else's dress especially made for me. Instead, in order to get the design I wanted I had to pay more. Mind you I had already paid $3000 for a dress that was VERY simple! I got ripped off! And then they never did the alterations promised. THey wanted me to sign for the dress and it was not as promised so I wrote that down and took my dress as I only had a week until my wedding. Through screaming and tears I finally got my dress out! Did I mention that they also put holes in my veil! And then replaced it with the wrong color veil on the day that I picked up my dress but wouldn't let me compare the colors! I took my dress two other seamstresses. The first said it was so badly done that they couldn't fix it. The next wedding dress seamstress said she could fix it. But when she got into it said it was the worst quality workmanship she had seen in years so it was going to take longer than she originally thought. She suggested that I get money back b/c it was such poor quality!!! This was the worst decision I made during wedding planning! The store looks horrible and the service is even worse!!! DO NOT PAY from this store! Horrible experience. I"m telling everyone so no one else has to go through this so close to their wedding day!

Couture Service without the High Pressure Sales Pitch!. I tried a few others in B-ham and Rochester that have stellar rep's, but felt pressured into gowns I didn't want to commit to. The sales people made it clear that they wanted commission whether I was happy or not. Finally went to Julie's (now not owned by Julie, I'm told, but by Amy) despite the icky awning. Great selection of designers, helpful staff (more than one girl came in to help me find a gown even though they were busy). I found the perfect dress after 2 visits, and they never made it feel like a hassle, but like they were lucky I chose them for my big day.

Place is in the middle of a revamp, but don't be discouraged. I thought they'd be a bit scattered, but they were 100% on target. I wish they'd finish the revamp and change the outside to reflect the interior! It just looks a bit dodgy from the street.

good experience turned very bad!!. First time I went to pick out my dress was wonderful.......second time when I went to pick it up was horrible and unprofessional. One woman was in her barefeet and the other was talking behind her back. When I went to complain about my experience, I was told, "you should not be upset, at least you are getting married!" Brides, this is your time to shine, do not go to Julie's! You deserve better!! I only wish that someone had told me and I would have definitely gone somewhere else!
