Best Neighborhood Secret. I absolutely adore this restaurant. Awesome food, and the restaurant is very accepting towards modification requests. Personalized, quick service with a good wine list. Great new deck during the summer months. Best-kept neighborhood secret!

Chicken Tosca!. This was my third time visiting Salvatore Scallopini. I had Chicken Tosca, breaded chicken breast sauteed with mushrooms and lemon wine sauce. Though I do not like lemon based sauce, I ordered it because my friend recommended that it is the house favorite, and I am glad I did. The chicken was very soft, and the lemon wine sauce wasn't sour but fresh with a tint of lemony taste. The side pasta was a disappointment, but after all it's a "side" and I remember that Penne Palamino e Pollo was pretty good last time.

The bread served before the meal was very nice and soft too. My waitress was very graceful and kind, and I enjoyed my meal even when my friend could not make it and I ended up dining alone on a friday night. I would definitely revisit this place.
