Controllor Systems has been my alarm company since 1995. It was amazing how their installers were able to wire my home without seeing any wires. Their monitoring center is "Freaky Fast". My home is empty during the day and on most weekends and I am extremely confident in having Controllor watch over my property when I am not there. It is a pleasure to talk to a live operator when I contact them and advise them that I will not be around for a certain number of days. If you are serious about getting a good reliable security system, give them a call. I have referred numerous neighbors and have not heard of any problems. If I ever move I will contact them again. I have used Controllor Security for the past 7 years and always have gotten great service. I had new windows put in last year and Controllor Security sent out a professional service tech the next day. When comcast added my phone line my alarm wouldnt work anymore and the comcast tech didnt know how to fix it. Controllor Security service tech talked to the comcast tech on the phone and told him how to wire the comcast phones the correct way. I couldnt be more satisfied.

Best Alarm Company in Michigan. I like the fact that they are a local company with a central station in Michigan. Having my home monitored from a company in Texas doesn't give me a piece of mind when I leave for the day. The tech they sent out didn't leave a mess and was meticulous in every detail when in my home. I haven't experienced customer service like that in a long long time. Safe to say that I would recommend this Alarm Company to everyone I know.

Awesome custome service. My mother has had Controllor Security for two years. When you call the company you get a live person, not a recording. Their monitoring company is local so you don't have to worry that you are calling another state. The technician that came out was very helpful and informative. My mom loves them, and loves the fact that the term of her contract was written in plain English right on the front of it. I would recommend this company to everyone.

voted chamber of commerce company of the year 2010. there is no fine print in the # of years on there agreement ---it is hand written in the middle of the first page (and hand printed) and not hidden in the middle of fine print like other companies I've reviewed

I totally agree with this being the WORST alarm company. They use unethical practices to sign you up and keep you with them. BE SURE TO READ THE FINE PRINT!!

Their methods may be legal but TOTALLY unethical!! They lock you into a 2 year contract term and then will renew it AUTOMATICALLY if you don't notify them IN WRITING within 60 days of the expiration of the contract. You are NOT notified that the end of the 2 years is coming up and then will NOT renegotiate your terms with you.

I am SO sorry I EVER signed with them. I used them because they are local but unfortunately I didn't do sufficient enough home work. There are plenty of local, respectable and ethical in our area. As SOON as I can get OUT of this contract, I am GONE!!

worst alarm company I AGREE. Ive been with this company for 17 years.my system kept malfunctioning.Had them out 2 times to repair system and still had issues.I decided just to cancel monitoring after paying hundreds of dollars in repair and about 700.00 in police calls. I was in the second year of my 4th ,5 year renewable contract.Gave them 60 day written notice.Then weeks later I get served papers for court for remainder of my 5 year contract at 900.00.That is sad that after 17 years of service they sue me for 3 years of future monitoring when i canceled after 17 years. This company is very poor.Hope this helps you pick your monitoring company.dont use them

Worst Alarm company EVER!. Ive had this company going on two years November 2011. I would've NEVER used them, but my home came hardwired with their system so it was cost effective (so i thought) to call them and set-up new service. They charge you 70.00 to come out even when THEIR sytems or equipment fails (what am i paying 25.00 a month for?) GOD forbid you need something replaced (window connect or system battery) thats an added cost on top of the 70.00 service fee smh! Never sign a contract with these people. I had a year contract, but the contract stimpulates you give them 60 day notice prior to the end of your contract to cancel in writing or your rolled into another contract under the same stipulations from the previous. Im ended my contract 4 months earlier, cancelled automatic drafts with my bank (all after they refused to end my serive lol) and yes i mailed them a certified letter cancelling. if you want a local GOOD company try GUARDIAN ALARM. I pay 29.00 vs 25.00 with controller and it doesnt cost for Guardian to maintain their systems or for service calls!

Terrible Company. system failed repeatedly but didn't stop them from collecting the monthly charges. Happy to be an ex customer
