The BEST Chinese Food EVER!. I've been dining at this establishment since I can remember to walk. It always is consistant with service, food quality, and cleanliness. No other Chinese place can compete (I've tried other places and even though their portions are bigger and prices seem cheaper, the food is much fresher and of better quality at New Ching Tao Palace). There is something to be said of a restaurant that has been around like 25 years! MUST TRY: Almond Boneless Chicken, Orange Chicken, Egg Rolls, Singapore Chicken! MMMMM

Very Bad Food. We had ordered a chicken and a shrimp dish from their house specials menu. The chicken had a strange texture and did not taste like chicken. The shrimp was old and tasted like iodine and bleach. When we told the owner about the old bad tasting shrimp, she said that's the way shrimp is. I told her the shrimp was old and that it should not have been served. We were very disappointed that we wasted $42.00 on very BAD FOOD. Needless to say we will never eat there again.

Best chinese food in town!!!!! Great price also!!!!. Ching Tao Palace is by far and away the best Chinese food I have ever had! The food is great, the chicken is always prepared perfectly and the owners are very courteous and professional. I consider myself a chinese food connoisseur and there is no better chinese food restaurant in the metro Detroit area. The prices are great also. You can order most lunch carryout dishes for under $7 dollars. I highly recommend the almond boneless chicken or the princess chicken. I like those dishes the best!

Not the best.... I do not agree that this restaurant is the best. I dont recommend this establishment to anyone. The food is not the best and its kinda pricey to say the least. I like to get my moneys worth and this time we did not get that.

Yummy!. I am not a big chinese food fan but the Orange Chicken (ordered not spicy) is amazing! The flavor is very very good; once you try it, you won't order anything else. I used to live about 2 minutes away from this restaurant but have since moved to St. Clair Shores. Whenever I want Chinese, I still go to Ching Tao for the Orange Chicken despite the 15/20 minute drive. I have even turned my mom on to the place and her favorite is the Happy Family (some seafood combination).

I know everyone has different likes/dislikes but this restaurant definitely has my vote for the Orange Chicken :-) Also, the owners are very friendly and there is a wide variey of options on the menu.

Best Chinese food hands down. As a huge Chinese food fan I can say this is definitely the best place to get it. I've been to pretty much every one on this ratings list so far and this is the one to beat. It's been 20 years since I first tried their food and haven't found a better place yet in SE Michigan. Not even close. It's authentic looking, clean, and the service is great. Every other Chinese restaurant seems to share their recipes. Not Ching Tao. All their flavors and dishes are uniquely created and garnished. They have the best sauces for the common dishes like almond, sweet/sour etc. They also have creations not found in all the others. Can't beat it! It's in a plaza so it doesn't look like much on the outside, but once you're through the door...it's all good!
