Great fish. Bad air quality.. If you're going to El Rancho you need to try the fish. It's the best All You Can Eat fish in the city as far as I'm concerned. My only gripe is that the air quality is poor and the service is below average. The size of this restaurant is very small and they have smoking and non smoking sections. Although the non smoking section is larger, the tinier smoking section's air will engulf the non smoking area. It's as if the place has zero ventilation whatsoever and if they do then it's not working properly. Getting service is another story. I had an empty drink cup for a good 20min before someone even bothered to come to our table for any reason. The waitresses disappear.

If you have breathing issues or hate the smell of smoke then avoid this place like the plague. It wouldn't hurt for them to go smoke free. The size of the restaurant, smokers and poor air ventilation ruin the experience one COULD have if they were smoke free. A local tar filled gem.

just say no. Family style resturant with typical Diner food. Not sure where the mexican connection is.

I was there for breakfast, and the eggs were burned. How do you screw up breakfast?
