I have used Nelson Brothers twice. I highly recommend them. First, they fixed a basement flooding problem and then I used them for a new hot water heater. Hot water heater failed on a Friday night, they were there early Saturday morning. They came out the same day for the basement problem. I experienced two different plumbers from the company, both who were professional, courteous, and explained the work they were doing as it was being done.

Do NOT confuse this company with another similarly-named company in Royal Oak. Call Nelson BROTHERS Plumbing.

Not reliable. I've had them come out before and they were average. Since I like to support my local businesses I thought I would have them out again. This time they didn't bother to come at the appointed time and when I called they told me they would be right there - but they weren't. When I called to reschedule they told me "do what you like" - not even an apology. If you have all day to wait and want to support local business call them, just don't expect professional service.
