Well worth the cost!. I have been going to Eddie for alterations for the last 13 years. I was referred to Eddie by a friend of mine. He has altered all of my homecoming and prom dresses, some of them being all beading and sequins. When I got married last year, I refused to take my dress to anyone else. My dress was way too big on me and needed a lot of alterations. Because of the way my dress was made and the beading on it, they had to take my entire dress apart and "rebuild" it. As nervous as I was that they had to do this, I knew if anyone could do it, Eddie and his wife could. Although the price was expensive, it was well worth the money. My dress was absolutely gorgeous. I will forever be a fan of Eddie's alterations and as long as he is around I will continue to go to him. I recommend that others do as well.

Overpriced and Dishonest. The prices at Eddies are OUTRAGEOUS. It is way over priced. The items I took in to be hemmed where going to cost me about 50% of the purchse price. To make things worse, they couldn't give me a quote for the dress I took in, but said they would call the next day. They NEVER called, so I did. The price was so ridicidulus and unconscionable I went back and took my items to my tailor in Birminham who did it in half the time for literally half the price. I am concerned that they were just going to hem my dress without telling me the price and charge me for it, had I not called them.

They don't call him "Fast Eddie" for nothing.... I've been going to Eddie's Alterations for years. Oftentimes I bring items in, expecting to drop them off, and he says "wait", and fixes them right on the spot. He's fair, reasonably priced, and extremely fast!

He's been rated the best tailor in the area for several years in a row, and for good reason. I'd highly recommend this business, and I have to all of my family and friends.

Overpriced & Dishonest. I came in with a broken zipper and was told it couldn't be fixed. Eddie told me both the zipper and the lining needed to be replaced for $28. I took it to MJ Cleaners and they fixed the zipper within 5 minutes - no charge. Makes you wonder how honest Eddie really is. . .
